Wait! I forgot to add a critical component of The Great Big Club George Carlin famously riffed on a number of years ago in his viral routine. In my last post I'd mentioned that all the rich and powerful people are in a big club and "You aren't in it." I was listening to a Greg Koukl podcast interview with fellow apologist Tim Barnett and it was all about the "AI." Very good stuff, there is always something new to discover not just about what should be called SPIT (Superfast Processing Information Technology) but how people are thinking about it and more importantly being captivated by what the Romanist mandarins are doing with it. I simply have to put up something of a blog post to make note of a video I saw on my social media feed. Here is a screenshot of a part of it, the part where the federal government needs its bank to print up more money so it can continue to virtue-signal with impunity. And yes, of course, get filthy rich doing so. Some guy very likely used Google's Veo3 to make an "AI" generated Nelson Aldrich figure and his background cohorts, and yes, it looks amazingly convincing. For about two minutes Mr. Aldrich regales us with the veritable realities of what the Federal Reserve does actually do. Indeed it is extraordinarily wicked, interminably eviscerating the value assignment of the industrious and productive efforts of regular people. Oh how infuriating this is! I recently found this profound comic panel meme, and it just says volumes about how I feel in the depths of my soul. I do take some time examining the World System and its machinations, because in some ways it does make my dwelling in The Kingdom that much more meaningful. I do sometimes think about how difficult it is to observe what is truly going on with that sorrowful destruction, and to behold so many so foolishly oblivious to it. But then again, that's a lot of it. I know why. Even sadder is that so many out there think they've got it, think they do know about the World and what it does. Nah. They're just like that beloved Catholicist influencer Augustine... I just want to be doing good and wholesome things in the City of God ...
