The Kingdom and the World, Redux

Image
Today out on my long walking loop in a very nice part of a town next to mine, I crisscrossed a very nice park and happened to stroll past three teenager-young-adult gentlemen. Each was wearing a white tank-top t-shirt, baggy shorts or khakis, had belts and maybe a chain or two on their hip if I remember. The one in the fedora was telling the other two, "My underwear is designer, my [some other clothing item I don't quite remember] is designer, my t-shirt is designer. Everything is designer, bro." I didn't pay any attention to anything else because I was walking pretty briskly, and I wasn't interested in prying. I thought about this and first felt this a great take on the truth that we are indeed all like that gentleman. We are all exhibitionist of some measure and it's nice to be seen as sporting the most fashionable something-or-another so we can be, well, considered . But then I thought about something else I can also put in my remarks here in this blog post...

A Nation Under the Influence

Image
Back in the early to mid-1900s when the best Frankfurt School instructors started loudly pontificating about all the ways the exploited and oppressed can be used as tools for greater authoritarian hegemonic rule -- in the name of the grandest virtue-signaling, of course -- one of the most critical weapons they knew they needed to expropriate was the means of communication through the most watched mass media channels. You can see the effects of this now quite successful commandeering in the whole Olympics thing. It is presumed that just about everyone watches the Olympics. I know there are a few who don't, and I happen to be one of them. Just to share, the last time I watched any of it was in 1976, and I do confess it was fun to see people like Nadia Comaneci and Bruce Jenner do the things they did. I just happened to enjoy (again the video put up on social media so I couldn't not look) watching cap-wearing Dave Wottle's comeback run for the gold in that long track race in ...

Remember Remember THIS Fifth of November

Image
Huh, I just heard for the first time when this year's US presidential election day is. November 5th. Huh. Didn't know that. Because as you know, "Remember remember the fifth of November, gunpowder treason and plot. For there is a reason why gunpowder and treason should ne'er be forgot." What does that mean? Does it mean that because they once tried to assassinate our beloved king by detonating a gazillion kegs of explosives under the Parliament building we'd better be sure that kind of thing just doesn't happen again by ferociously prosecuting those we all are told did it? And if anyone tries to do it again they know they'll get it right in the ----?! Or is it a reminder that any time a king even once even remotely even a little bit tries to be a ::gasp::  -- TYRANT  -- then we all know what to do? So don't forget it, okay, don't forget what they tell us needs to be done to keep the bad tyranny away...  In the great glorious name of DEMOCRACY!...

Suffering the Stupid Person, Part II

Image
I really thought I should add some more thoughts to a post I put up a couple days ago that could easily be called "The Die Hard  Factor." I'd mentioned the movie Die Hard was so compelling because the filmmaker did a fine job of showcasing some phenomenally stupid people, and I believe a big part of that was their skill in portraying them in all their self-absorbed exhibitionist glory. "Look at how danged smart I am while I go full bore into something mindbogglingly stupid that will likely end in my demise!..." Ouch. Makes me think of the Darwin Awards, you know, those stories about people doing exceptionally stupid things that only end in something very, very painful for them. Hate to say it, but this makes me think too of that quote, you may have seen it before too: Death and stupid people who don't know they're stupid are the same. It is only painful for everyone else. That's really the essence of this "Part II" post. Other people's...

The Real Prison Block Housing

Image
Just a quick post to update you a bit on some of the things I've been seeing and pondering. This'd be pretty long if I touched on all of it, but just a few things here for now. Yesterday picked up Edward Ring's latest piece . I've shared before I think he is one of the best at illuminating things out there, though again like most he'll never get to the truth that all of it is generated by Rome at the behest of every human's request that it crack heads for the mitigation of his/her evildoing. Anyway, you can get those truths in Scripture and maybe a bit more in my own writing ministry work which is only designed to direct you to Scripture and to understanding the evil the System routinely does and only then  to Christ and Kingdom and the only freedom that is worth anything. Anyway  (sorry I digress too much), Ring does do a phenomenal job of describing the effects of the System's head-cracking operation. Like having a nice home to raise a family? First that ...

There is No Such Thing as Freedom of Speech, Only Trolling Fields

Image
I've come across an amazing proverb in the Bible that lends biblical weight to the idea that words murder. Wow do so many screech about how much they should be able to say ANYTHING THEY WANT DAMMIT, but the reality is different. That proverb, it is the ninth in the eleventh chapter: "With their mouths the godless destroy their neighbors, but through knowledge the righteous escape." People are going to say stuff no matter what any schnazzy founding document says about prohibitions against government suppression of expression. And no matter what stout proclamations are made or how many blap loudly JUST HOW MUCH FREEDOM OF SPEECH IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING EVER!!! -- words are life or they are death irrespective of any perceived freedom  to do any given thing. As much as words are indeed death, they are human sacrifice if employed by Cain's duly authorized mandarins or those given over to their designs. (That, by the way, is mentioned in the 21st verse of the 18th chapt...

7/1/27

Image
There it is. The date I'm posting for the day when we'll actually see what this present cultural hellscape will bring. This is not any prediction of Jesus' return or anything like. It is just I've been thinking about the horrific woke sewer that is bilging into everything and wondering -- what precisely is this all going to look like, three, four years from now? So this past Saturday, July 1 2023, I thought I'd put a firm date to it. Exactly four years to the day from that date. That date itself is insignificant, but again the thought, what is our country going to look like when we arrive at that date? What will our planet  look like? Will something have happened over that time period that on that date everything will look violently different than it does today? It is indeed my consideration that it will. The things I'm thinking... One, God's wrath will be poured out on a increasingly wicked populace, and yes, upon so many good wholesome Catholicists who ena...

That Financial Human Sacrifice is Indeed One of the Worst

Image
Just wanted to post a brief follow-up to my last post , in which I elucidated the reasons why the manipulation of the society's value assessment tool, in the US it has traditionally been the dollar -- as it has around the world for some time as the global reserve currency -- is one of the most destructive things happening right now. I mean right at the top of the list of really devastating things out there. I thought, huh, aren't there a lot of other inane things out there that're killing us way more? The Ukraine war racketeering pushing us to WWIII? The climate change hysteria the policy demands of which will lead to millions of deaths worldwide from completely unnecessary energy resource depletion? The Covid lockdown idiocy that still ravages huge segments of what should be the most advanced intelligent parts of society? Yeah, those and several more are really, really bad. But that monetary unit exploitation in the name of really spiffy virtue-signaling among the extraord...

Non-Violence is Not So Non-Violent

Image
I've been seeing a number of videos from the UK showing climate alarmists in bright construction safety vests lined up sitting on a street blocking traffic. The idea surely is you should not be driving your vehicle because it uses fossil fuels so they're there to forcefully make the statement. The worst of those videos feature people pleading with the police officers nearby to remove them and those officers do nothing. Another shows an officer letting the protestors know if they need anything like a cup of water to just let them know. Amazing. I'm just not sure any of these people realize that someone's life might be on the line, for instance someone needing to get to the hospital but can't because of the traffic caused by these people. Some videos, however, feature individuals taking things into their own hands, getting out of their vehicles, and trying to physically drag these people off the street. It is comical because after being dragged away, the protestor jus...
