Astroturfing the Best Devotion to Rome
There were half-a-dozen things I thought about putting into a blog post to augment that home page effort. But I'll put it on hold for now. I'm just blogging to blog about it, direct your attention to it if you are interested, and I'll just get to other things later. Some of my reluctance to get too deeply into it is yet again relates to my feelings that after saying the same thing a hundred times yet looking out upon the wretched stupidity that still happens pretty much everywhere, well, you know. It does get very discouraging.
Sometimes being relegated to a trollee is just not fun. I know I haven't got the readership to be much of an influencer, but I always pray that those who do come across my ministry work here will be more vibrant Kingdom dwellers and share what they've learned with others so they may be as well. Not that it must come from my work -- just from anywhere, particularly Scripture itself. That is much of what my latest is about.
One of the latest ways Rome draws people into World System allegiance is with this thing "astroturfing," trying to make a critical mass of people's gaining devotion to a cause more organic when it is really just produced by Romanist agents and their expert propaganda influence (almost always involving cash payments). In doing this it uses people's do-gooding passions against them, shoving them into The Network to fight some enemy -- Rome has invented so many of them over the centuries -- and plays to the hilt the "Strength in numbers!" feature to make their institutional deceit look like ironclad truth. With the latest and the next latest and even more of the latest "A.I." it metastasizes that much more gruesomely.
Those ill-versed in God's word and His ways are really just dead meat.
And there are so many of them. It is sorrowful.
Yet there is the 110th Psalm, again, to bring comfort.
He'll take care of it, besides the wonderful truth that His mercies are still new every morning.
I'd planned to elaborate more but I confess, forgive me, I'm just not up to it right now. Putting together home page pieces is a lot, but again I don't mind. All I care about is sharing Christ and the freedom therein against a widely captivating Romanist World of insanely imaginative art projects that lead people from Him. Nothing new there, just praying my readers would find Him and the joy of dwelling in the Kingdom.
Thank you for your readership.
