He himself makes reference to another piece that has gone viral, one that has a theme that is something quite sobering, and never unanticipated by those who've been paying attention. Today out on my long walking loop in a very nice part of a town next to mine, I crisscrossed a very nice park and happened to stroll past three teenager-young-adult gentlemen. Each was wearing a white tank-top t-shirt, baggy shorts or khakis, had belts and maybe a chain or two on their hip if I remember. The one in the fedora was telling the other two, "My underwear is designer, my [some other clothing item I don't quite remember] is designer, my t-shirt is designer. Everything is designer, bro." I didn't pay any attention to anything else because I was walking pretty briskly, and I wasn't interested in prying. I thought about this and first felt this a great take on the truth that we are indeed all like that gentleman. We are all exhibitionist of some measure and it's nice to be seen as sporting the most fashionable something-or-another so we can be, well, considered . I was checking out The Matrix  again last night -- yes, I'd already seen it a few times. I really like the scene when Morpheus explains everything to Neo, much because the comes-the-dawn moment is the overarching goal of every follower of Christ in sharing the gospel with someone. Neo does take a bit of a leap of faith in swallowing the red pill, but that indeed is a lot of it -- a trope that has become quite common as you may well know. Want to know reality, really ? Then take the red pill. The problem is that so many believe that revelation from the red pill's effects only comes with identifying and embracing the proper conspiracy theories. Yesterday Google's Veo 3 was introduced, and it must be cited as a red-letter day. Now everyone will be doing what Tim Challies wrote about on the very same day. There it is in a screenshot of his blog's home page. It is truly harrowing, really. "AI makes me doubt everything." He will not be the only one. We all will, all the time. Veo 3 has now, really, reached that final holy grail of AI-generated CGI video-audio-communication technology. You know what it is. Too few have been fearing it for many years now, but many of them have been sounding the alarm. Thought I'd add a few more thoughts about my recent post and our visit to the "Magic Kingdom." I'd riffed a bit on the meaning of the whole Disney dominion and how it is merely part of the System's enslavement, as fun, exhilarating, and yes, enchanting it is to enjoy it all. The other night I was out on my evening walk with a very nice John Jarvis tune streaming in my cranium. Passing by was a vehicle driven by a young man and sure enough, as I'm sure you've encountered, his music was hammering the environs and it was nothing but inharmonious bass and droning voices that sounded like they were coming from Hell. I was listening to Greg Koukl's podcast yesterday and he had a personal take on the Bob Dylan major motion picture biopic that came out a few months ago. First of all, I'd mentioned Mr. Koukl in my latest home page piece in the context of his unwillingness to call out the Roman Catholic Church for what it really is, only because his tax-exempt non-profit relies on the ecclesiocratic hegemony and all its devout followers to fund his enterprise. Otherwise, he does do pretty decent explication of Christian things. 18 years ago the best explainer of World System activity against the beauty and glory and wonder of the Kingdom passed away. Tupper Saussy and his seminal work Rulers of Evil  brought together much of the history of System machinations and clearly exposited its real meaning: That God has allowed it all for the expressed purpose of highlighting the evil that it and normal human beings do so people would call on the name of the Lord. None of this is hidden or new or esoteric or unfathomable or the exclusive purview of those who are insightful enough to see what "secret societies" do. The history is there to read and understand.
