I've found I generally don't blog a whole lot in May. One, I've just got so much to do as a teacher as a school year comes to a close. Two, there is so much about which to post that I can't even start. Three, I am planning to put together something of a home page piece for the summer, some of which will cover just a bit of the insanity swarming about. But I thought I'd just share a contrast related to the overwhelming nature of Data Center construction everywhere and the "AI" God it serves. I feel like putting it all in caps because in some measure those things are now proper nouns. Recently we attended the memorial services of a fellow follower of Christ, a wonderful lady who served faithfully as a missionary in some of the worst places on the planet. Afterwards I asked one of her cohorts about the most difficult part their efforts, and she replied without a beat, "The terrorist groups." Talk about persecution. The thing I wanted to note here in...

The Most Valuable Thing in a Baroque Dominated World

Image
Know what the most valuable thing in the world is right now? Well, it has in some sense been the most valuable thing ever, but things are happening now that amplify this truth. Gold? Nah, just shiny yellow rocks, and the gold hawkers are starting to be a little more exposed for ripping off their customers. Cash? Green pieces of paper rapidly being replaced by the inflation and the digital. Stocks, bonds, funds, commodities, property, your very own house --  something  asset-oriented? Who knows what anything is valued there, really, except what the Institutions say they are. Ahh, crypto! Eh, just computer numbers the value of which are so volatile they are effectively worthless. Oh, yeah: your own education, knowledge, and experience! Umm, if it is simply System-infused atheist materialist humanist dreck it is all Hell anyway. No, the most valuable thing is data . You can tell with the obsession the rich and powerful have with it. You can see how much they want to keep on keepi...

The 21st Century Baroque Will Be Lethal, Exactly the Way Its Patrons Want It

Image
Just a brief blog post to direct you to Edward Ring's piece this week, here's the link . He himself makes reference to another piece that has gone viral, one that has a theme that is something quite sobering, and never unanticipated by those who've been paying attention. With all the talk of all that the SPIT will dominate -- and I'm sorry, I can't call it "AI" because the thing Artificial Intelligence  does not exist. It is a phantasm in the minds of those who live by the precepts of the World Ops who shove it into the minds of those who obsequiously follow. The backronym SPIT, by the way, is for Superduperextrasuperultramegamagmasupersupersuperduperdeeduper- fast Processing Information Technology... With all the talk of what it will do it is clear that it will do one thing. It will murder us all. Physically? Maybe not so much, at least not right away. But emotionally? Spiritually? Meaningfully? Yes . Part of being human is taking pride in accomplishing s...

Still Just the Latest Greatest Baroque Output to Keep People Zealously Romanist

Image
The latest greatest in "AI"-generated video content comes from something called "Seedance 2.0." Nothing special about it except that it is just cleaner, smoother, nicer, and realer. Not really anything because soon there will still be  Better. And then after that even better. And better. And again better and better and better. And of course, Realer. When will the cognitive disruption be so great that the inability to see the fake from the real will result in some kind of social, economic, even political "black swan" event. As it is we are having to confront those realities, as it were, with breakneck speed. The things that can result from being able to be something of an influencer through media technology, merely holding a computer device in your hands with only the limits of your imagination impeding anything you can do as the best 21st century Baroque composer...  Every day we are experiencing something new we've never really had to fully address. T...

The Great Grand Resistance Movement Has a Wonderful New Heroine!

Image
Meet Amelia. Or have you met Amelia? If you're paying attention to the social media and ecclesiocratically injected propaganda, made so much more pronounced with the "AI"-generated graphic extravaganza, you may have met her. She's a smart, bold, brave, brash, sassy, pretty, hip, with-it young lady who is really good at persuasion, especially because she seems so, so modern what with her purple hair and mastery of the current rampaging sentiments among the younger adult class. Apparently she was originally a concoction of the UK government to promote all the spiffy Frankfurt School stuff they want everyone to embrace, you know, how much socialism and racialism and sodomism there must be so everyone can be ever so diversitous and equitous and inclusivonomous -- and as a bonus just see how spangtanimously virtuous the governing mandarins are at enforcing all this wonderfulness. Because it is so easy now with computer technology to take these prominent avatars, shape them...

We All Though Really Just Really Really Want To Be In The Great Big Club

Image
I was listening to a Greg Koukl podcast interview with fellow apologist Tim Barnett and it was all about the "AI." Very good stuff, there is always something new to discover not just about what should be called SPIT (Superfast Processing Information Technology) but how people are thinking about it and more importantly being captivated by what the Romanist mandarins are doing with it. Tim brought up something about it that relates to the seriously entrenched echo chambers the whole chatbot obsession is creating -- perfectly what the Jesuits want to happen!  -- everyone just living comfortably in their own "cognitive universes," as another pundit called them.  One of the examples Tim shared was how some detractors will incessantly post the notion that Christianity was the most oppressive, imperialist, just-plain-rotten thing that ever happened, you know the trope. Tim added in his own web efforts Red Pen Logic  he has had to set the record straight with all the great ...

Institutional Blackmail Has Been Standard Operating Procedure for Millennia

Image
I recently found this profound comic panel meme, and it just says volumes about how I feel in the depths of my soul. I do take some time examining the World System and its machinations, because in some ways it does make my dwelling in The Kingdom that much more meaningful. I do sometimes think about how difficult it is to observe what is truly going on with that sorrowful destruction, and to behold so many so foolishly oblivious to it. But then again, that's a lot of it. I know why. Even sadder is that so many out there think they've got it, think they do know about the World and what it does. Nah. They're just like that beloved Catholicist influencer Augustine... I just want to be doing good and wholesome things in the City of God ... Except that the "City of God" is just the good and wholesome Roman Catholic simulacra that is really about head-cracking evildoers, and every single one of us is an evildoer .  Ahh thank goodness there is the City of God law enforce...

Finally Alchemy Success with the Magical Wonders of AI

Image
I was checking out The Matrix  again last night -- yes, I'd already seen it a few times. I really like the scene when Morpheus explains everything to Neo, much because the comes-the-dawn moment is the overarching goal of every follower of Christ in sharing the gospel with someone. Neo does take a bit of a leap of faith in swallowing the red pill, but that indeed is a lot of it -- a trope that has become quite common as you may well know. Want to know reality, really ? Then take the red pill. The problem is that so many believe that revelation from the red pill's effects only comes with identifying and embracing the proper conspiracy theories. The idea is you can BE FREE! once you understand what the Rothschilds have done or the Council on Foreign Relations has done or the CIA has done and is still doing and on and on and on and on and on  ad nauseam.  Now there is the AI to help you see. Supposedly . Actually it just makes it much more complicated and much more difficult ...
