Finishing up some web reading I thought I'd direct your attention to David Bell's article over at Brownstone . It is really how the principle of Universal Basic Income is really just a form of murder. Read it, you'll see. On my social media a post reminded me of John Calhoun's work with mice. I don't know the details of this work, might be apocryphal, I don't know. But he put a community of mice in an environment where they had everything they wanted. Wait! I forgot to add a critical component of The Great Big Club George Carlin famously riffed on a number of years ago in his viral routine. In my last post I'd mentioned that all the rich and powerful people are in a big club and "You aren't in it." I was listening to a Greg Koukl podcast interview with fellow apologist Tim Barnett and it was all about the "AI." Very good stuff, there is always something new to discover not just about what should be called SPIT (Superfast Processing Information Technology) but how people are thinking about it and more importantly being captivated by what the Romanist mandarins are doing with it. I confess I am not a fan of July 4th festivities. I know this will get me in big trouble with the more zealously patriotic set. It isn't that I don't appreciate what we enjoy in the United States, I am always doing what my Lord asks me to do and pray for the people in it, even those in significant positions of leadership whomever they may be.  I could detail some of why I feel the way I do, but really, I'd just be trolling, and encouraging trollee'ing. Why. I will say, however, that yesterday -- on this day of grandiose celebration of good wholesome all-American things -- a sudden massive rainfall led to catastrophic flooding in central Texas. Already some two dozen are confirmed dead and many more are still missing. Over 200 hundred people have been rescued by courageous and industrious emergency personnel, so that is a very good blessing -- that there are that many people smart and prepared to do that. Here I go again, right into the Trolling Minefield, stomping all over it in my bare feet. But, well, I'm committed to blogging every once in a while to continue to elucidate one of the most important Truth Rules of them all for anyone who will ask Christ to allow them to understand it: There is a Kingdom, and there is a World System. The System is made to look like the Kingdom but it isn't, by light years, and that window dressing is exclusively by the work of the Roman Catholic Ecclesiocracy. Recently came across another fine exposition by Todd Hayen over at Off-Guardian . It splendidly echoes the Truth Rules shared in my last post : That the System manufactures "realities" to compel people's "obedience to the understanding," and with the latest "A.I." CGI capabilities that will become more and more proficiently accomplished. Hayen emphasizes the System principle pounded into the mainstream psyche that the main rule of life is you can make your own rule of life, indeed that you can choose your own reality. He does fine work to speak to this principle's untenable logic, one that has actually been known of for millennia. If my  "reality" is different from your "reality," how can there be one true reality? And if there isn't, then what is the value of any  "reality" if, yes, none are actually real? But, alas, people lost in their own reprobation and thoroughly given over to the System's take on thing...

It seems everyone really likes making FREEDOM  and DEMOCRACY and WE-SIMPLY-MUST-DO-ANYTHING-NECESSARY- TO-STOP-DICTATORS their supremely sovereign gods. How many times do I hear about how much of an "existential threat" some powerful government official will be if he or she gets into some position of authority. Never mind that for several years now people have been childishly using the word existential  as if it related to fears about not existing, when it means nothing of the sort. But it is part of the fiercely distended liturgy, so, well. The truth that just about everybody who blaps incessantly about political matters simply refuses to get is that there is no democracy. It is funny, a social media thread that got quite a bit of traction recently related to the question, "How often do men think about the Roman Empire?' All kinds of responses went into the interactive cybersphere, most of them whimsical, you know, "No wonder my husband doesn't think about bringing me flowers any more," you know, those kinds of things. Well, in actual reality where our own personal identities and professional purposes and eternal destinies are quite relevant to every element of our thinking, the Roman Empire should  be something every one of us should be seriously contemplating at least a little bit. It is simple. The Roman Empire exists today quite prominently . As I emphasized in my last post , you can see the progression of this truth first in Scripture, then in incisive observation of what's really behind historical events and current affairs, and finally in perusing my own webzine work and there seeing more of the Kingdom/World contrast. ...

Hey how about this anniversary! Another one! 100 years too! If we traditionally count the beginning of the school year as officially end of August, beginning of September, then juuust abouuut riiight abouuut now is the 100th anniversary to the  day  of the opening of the Frankfurt School, back then in 1923. The Frankfurter Schule , or sometimes Institute of Social Research, acclaimed for their robust promotion of Critical Theory All-Kinds-of-Things-Related-to-Establishing-Spiffy-Ways-to-Destroy-the-Evil-Oppressive-Hegemony-and-at-the-Same-Time-Sending-Millions-of-Souls-to-Hell-in-Doing-So, is indeed 100 years old right about now. Today is July 14th and you know what that means. We all get to think deeply and longingly about all those who heroically STORMED THE BASTILLE! We can contemplate what it means to FIGHT THE MAN! We can labor maniacally to keep any misled potentate from infringing on MY PERSONAL FREEDOM DAMMIT!
