The Cold Civil War Rages On - More Guns Pointed at More Heads

Image
Recently a major professional sports player said some things that offended the woke hegemonic voices and forced their hand to proceed with the requisite cancellation. The team was holding one of its sadly now-quite-typical "Pride" celebrations, and he objected saying it was unrighteous. He did add that as a follower of Christ he could not in good conscience participate in such an event. Often players are expected to have rainbow-ish items added to their uniforms, and perhaps even spit up a good word about how much they respect the courage and experience of anyone embracing LGBTQ anything. Because the player said what he said, he was released from the team, and the team expressly and very publicly cited his remarks as the reason why, you know, "...for something-something detrimental to blah-blah." This has gotten some airplay in social media and throughout the sports commentariat. It hasn't been addressed so much in the mainstream legacy media, and I do believe t...

So Many Realities

Image
The other day I was surfing on the car radio as I often do, and came across NPR for just a moment. During that brief time of checking out the latest System bilge, there was a short promo for what I believe they said was their "Marketplace" show. Here is what they said: "We represent perspectives and realities that..." I don't exactly remember what followed, but I'm sure it was about how great they are at virtue-signaling so you'd continue to listen and get your hearts and minds filled with richly exploitive plap.  The point, though, is this. Realities? As in, plural realities? Realit ies ? What have we become to be so consumed by this postmodern dreck. Supposedly super smart people over at the NPR stupidity mill churning out the worst of World dominion mind-control, in one word revealing the core nature of their dissipation. But precisely what its listeners want to hear. So touching, so caring, so inclusive and tolerant and smarmy. So nice of them to ack...

The Lethal Deceit of Pride

Image
Here we are right in the middle of "Pride Month" and all who join in the celebration are oblivious to the gruesome lethality such an action carries with it. I'll never forget being in Salt Lake City for a professional commitment in the middle of June of 2018 and accidentally coming across a "Pride" parade, and while I was aghast at the breadth of immorality that was on display in this thing, it struck me that this was happening in Salt Lake City , bastion of Mormon morality and rightness and goodosity. Thing is this kind of pride not only destroys those who partake but those around them who absorb the ideas, the propaganda, the demonic nature of the now irreversibly pandemic endeavor. Many will say, "What does what we  do with our bodies have to do with you? " Many will even say, "What they  do with their own lifestyle choices is their business as long as they keep it to themselves." Any and all of these sentiments, from those who like it and...

This Truth Rule Really Leaves a Huge Swath of Destruction

Image
I caught this in some Scripture reading this morning. It is from the twelfth Psalm. Help, Lord, for no one is faithful anymore; those who are loyal have vanished from the human race. Everyone lies to their neighbor; they flatter with their lips and harbor deception in their hearts. May the Lord silence all flattering lips and every boastful tongue--those who say, "By our tongues we will prevail; our own lips will defend us--who is Lord over us?" Thus, the Truth Rule: Institutionalized codependency is an extraordinarily powerful force. A while back while walking in a very upscale neighborhood, multi-million dollar homes in the hills, I glanced at a nice vehicle in the driveway that had an Obama bumper sticker on the back. It made me think. Huh. Here's someone living largely, lots of wealth, and they like the policy agenda represented by this politician. You know, socialism light, racialism through-&-through, sodomist enabling -- working very hard at forcing everyone to...

The Truth Rules

Image
Not only does Truth Rule , but there are certain rules about life that are truthful no matter what you think, feel, believe, or are absolutely convinced about. I have a good friend who is a bit humanistically minded, well, sorry, his thinking is  really  influenced by humanist thought, meaning he believes just being a good kind polite human being is perfectly fine, that there are fine solutions to bad things that do not necessarily require God, and that the answer "That's just what you think, not everyone thinks like you" is the mic-drop argument winner. I wanted to share a few Truth Rules  here, some that I see are quite dismissed by a humanist overrun populace. These are rules that apply in every circumstance, and while it is perfectly fine for someone to disagree, like the rules of physics such as the law of gravity or the rules of mathematics such as quadratic equations, these rules are inviolate. And please, as I think somewhat highly of the falsification princi...

The Institutionalized Excoriation of Marjorie Taylor Greene

Image
Wow is it intense! A lot of people really don't like Marjorie Taylor Greene! She is a new Republican congresswoman who has a few ideas that a lot of people reeeally  don't like. I recently even saw a piece by a relatively conservative columnist who practically shouted off the page, " Whatever you do, do not be like Marjorie Taylor Greene!" -- listing one-by-one her most horrific transgressions. Ahh, the New York Times wins again. Well, better, The Society  wins again. For the crime of sharing something  about the idea that a destructive fire was caused by a space laser, among a few other things about some things, she has essentially been cancelled with the most extreme prejudice. Yes I am speaking figuratively, but her political livelihood, indeed her very reputation is being slowly assassinated and the event is being splashed in everyone's face on all forms of web or social media. It is really as if powerful people with the most to lose by virtue of the rigidly e...

The Reality Just Isn't All That

Image
The current election pronouncements reveal a splendidly truthful thing postmodern philosophers posited years ago. The simulacra are more important than the reality . Postmodernists generally dismiss truthful things anyway as only so much power. Nothing is really truthful anyway, thus the simulacra become the reality . This is just a fancy term that refers to the reigning projections, or the embraced imageries of things people believe are real. Since there is no reality, the simulacra will do. Nothing could explain the current Biden-Harris-Democrat-Technocrat-Media falling all over themselves pretending to be president of the United States. It doesn't really matter who is president, he or she is and always has been under the authoritative instruction of Rome's deepest operative potentates anyway... but wow, is this a spectacle! Come on people! You can't beat this show! Just ride with it -- it is so much fun! You gotta admit: it is thrilling to feel like you've just clock...

The Critical Things John Lennox Missed

Thursday night I went over to Harvey Mudd College, one of the top science schools in the nation, to see something I thought was quite extraordinary. John Lennox, one of the preeminent Christian apologists ever, was appearing for a talk I think I saw titled, "Cosmic Chemistry." Hmm, was this a nifty challenge to the materialist worldview? Whatever the case, wow... John Lennox right there to talk Christ with however many atheist humanist religionist progressive naturalist dogmatist collegians who would be there. I arrived and managed to get a seat right in the middle of a lecture hall that sat about 300. By the time Lennox started the place was packed. Hmm. What's with that? Who were these people? I noticed many were older folks -- these lectures are open to the public. There were quite a few students, however, but I did see some were brought in by their professors. Oh these kids are smart, but I really don't think many of them have the intellectual sophistication t...

Who Is It You Listen To? Unless It Is God, It Will Be The Autocrat

Image
This article appeared about the inanity happening at Google regarding a bunch of clueless Gen-X'er and Millennial genius computer people trying to get the concept of righteousness. Unless they look at it by God's Word, they'll be lost. Take a peek at what they are blithering in the posts and tweets and rants they've been bilging about. It isn't that they don't know there is truth, it is that they think truth is what the Jesuit-managed System tells them it is. In fact there are grains of truth in those things in that Breitbart piece, but they can only respond with "Well that's just how I feel don't hurt me." Really, look -- you see it all over the page. These are fearful, even paranoid people scared to death that they'll be found out so they can't help but proclaim "I'm the right kind of social justice warrior! Listen to MY genius thoughts about it all!" You could even see that they're so into the System's ve...

"Certainty Starts Wars"

Image
"Certainty starts wars" earned wild applause when proudly blurted by Andrew Garfield on a recent episode of the Stephen Colbert show. Colbert's show is an excellent place to learn about the things World Ops pack into the minds of a rapt audience ill-equipped to understand how the devil is toying with them. Garfield has been the acclaimed star of two reasonably well-received films, Hacksaw Ridge  and Silence . Both have a Roman Catholic connection. The former was made by Mel Gibson, a devout Roman Catholic and a controversial filmmaker whose stirring epics are smothered with the most grisly violent content. The latter is a historical drama about Jesuit priests who have crises of faith when they visit Japan and endure some persecution -- I humbly admit I have seen neither film but I do have some general knowledge about the substance of each. Garfield and Colbert were bantering about this thing certainty  when the idea was brought up that certainly is terrifying . This ...

The Very Best Kind of Speech

The culture war rages on particularly with regards to how hate speech should or shouldn't be prosecuted. In July I blogged far more than I usually do simply to augment much of what I put in my home page piece then, "How I Stopped Worrying and Learned to Love the Hate Speech Laws." This is merely a very brief post about the very best kind of speech, put into a video from the Bible Project that I've showcased in my latest home page piece . I'd just like to direct your attention to it. In it I include some remarks about how much I'd like to interact with those who actually get it -- indeed not just those who understand but those who actually want to enthusiastically bring the Kingdom into the lives of others. Sorry, but the Catholicized church just doesn't do that -- indeed, it isn't supposed to. It is only supposed to corral people and their behavior within the confines of turgid religious activity, whether that activity is overtly religious or not! ...

Hate Speech is Indeed a Crime, and Understanding This May Take Some Time

Sadly, for so many, understanding that hate speech is indeed a crime will never happen. It'd be nice, but it just won't happen. We've been a civilized people for, what, at least 6,000 years, and we're still not getting it. We look around at people trying and trying and trying and just get exasperated. I confess, I do too. I look at it all, and get exasperated. I'm working at acceptance, something I myself have been on about for some 20, 30 years. Acceptance is a very good thing, but it is still hard for me to not feel it when people simply refuse to see what is right in front of their eyes. Oh, Jesus did the same thing, trust me. You can find how he felt in Scripture, His own words. Read about His feelings here, in just these few verses from the gospel of Mark -- 3:5, 6:6, 8:12 -- yeah, check it out. Jesus got exasperated . So yeah, I really can't add anything else to what I've shared, to what I've encouraged people to look at in Scripture or in...
