The Cold Civil War Rages On - More Guns Pointed at More Heads

Image
Recently a major professional sports player said some things that offended the woke hegemonic voices and forced their hand to proceed with the requisite cancellation. The team was holding one of its sadly now-quite-typical "Pride" celebrations, and he objected saying it was unrighteous. He did add that as a follower of Christ he could not in good conscience participate in such an event. Often players are expected to have rainbow-ish items added to their uniforms, and perhaps even spit up a good word about how much they respect the courage and experience of anyone embracing LGBTQ anything. Because the player said what he said, he was released from the team, and the team expressly and very publicly cited his remarks as the reason why, you know, "...for something-something detrimental to blah-blah." This has gotten some airplay in social media and throughout the sports commentariat. It hasn't been addressed so much in the mainstream legacy media, and I do believe t...

The Great Grand Resistance Movement Has a Wonderful New Heroine!

Meet Amelia. Or have you met Amelia? If you're paying attention to the social media and ecclesiocratically injected propaganda, made so much more pronounced with the "AI"-generated graphic extravaganza, you may have met her. She's a smart, bold, brave, brash, sassy, pretty, hip, with-it young lady who is really good at persuasion, especially because she seems so, so modern what with her purple hair and mastery of the current rampaging sentiments among the younger adult class. Apparently she was originally a concoction of the UK government to promote all the spiffy Frankfurt School stuff they want everyone to embrace, you know, how much socialism and racialism and sodomism there must be so everyone can be ever so diversitous and equitous and inclusivonomous -- and as a bonus just see how spangtanimously virtuous the governing mandarins are at enforcing all this wonderfulness. Because it is so easy now with computer technology to take these prominent avatars, shape them...

The Kingdom and the World, Redux

Image
Today out on my long walking loop in a very nice part of a town next to mine, I crisscrossed a very nice park and happened to stroll past three teenager-young-adult gentlemen. Each was wearing a white tank-top t-shirt, baggy shorts or khakis, had belts and maybe a chain or two on their hip if I remember. The one in the fedora was telling the other two, "My underwear is designer, my [some other clothing item I don't quite remember] is designer, my t-shirt is designer. Everything is designer, bro." I didn't pay any attention to anything else because I was walking pretty briskly, and I wasn't interested in prying. I thought about this and first felt this a great take on the truth that we are indeed all like that gentleman. We are all exhibitionist of some measure and it's nice to be seen as sporting the most fashionable something-or-another so we can be, well, considered . But then I thought about something else I can also put in my remarks here in this blog post...

Floods, The Main Thing

Image
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction. (Proverbs 1:7) The fool says in his heart, "There is no God." (Proverbs 14:1) I'd written a bit about some things people could do to employ the best knowledge with the best wisdom and... I kind of felt I was just sharing things people already know. It wasn't that what I shared wasn't meaningful, but so many look at those extraordinarily profound truth rules and shrug, "So what." Yeah, this is kind of why I often feel resigned that all I am doing is what I've called trollee'ing.  There are just so many lethally stupid things out there in the world it doesn't matter how powerfully lucid you are in your response, it just doesn't seem to matter. Here's a good one, recently, I just could not help but be a fine trollee!  The guy who does The Babylon Bee  directed everyone to a social media post from a gentleman who blapped, "What we discover...

So Many Realities

Image
The other day I was surfing on the car radio as I often do, and came across NPR for just a moment. During that brief time of checking out the latest System bilge, there was a short promo for what I believe they said was their "Marketplace" show. Here is what they said: "We represent perspectives and realities that..." I don't exactly remember what followed, but I'm sure it was about how great they are at virtue-signaling so you'd continue to listen and get your hearts and minds filled with richly exploitive plap.  The point, though, is this. Realities? As in, plural realities? Realit ies ? What have we become to be so consumed by this postmodern dreck. Supposedly super smart people over at the NPR stupidity mill churning out the worst of World dominion mind-control, in one word revealing the core nature of their dissipation. But precisely what its listeners want to hear. So touching, so caring, so inclusive and tolerant and smarmy. So nice of them to ack...

The 6,000-Year Stupid Run, Addendum

Image
Just saw a post from a decent economist about how working men are vanishing. He pointed out today 1 in 7 men have pretty-much checked out and are doing nothing. Being homeless, sitting in the basement playing video games, whatever thing not engaged in a single meaningfully productive effort of any kind. In 1950 that number was 1 in 40. I mention this because I concluded my last post with a mention of Joy Pullman's piece about the twisting around of male-female innate roles, responsibilities, duties, and just how much that has destroyed our society. This little factoid from the economist is testament to the wicked product this present ugly reality. I pondered what I shared in my last post , just about that distressing concept generally known as stupidity , still thinking about Jesus warning against calling anyone a fool. But the fact is Scripture talks about the distinction between wisdom and folly all the time . Very required, really. We are all so very stupid. So yeah, not an issu...

It Has Been About 6,000 Years You Know, At Least

Image
I have given up seeing if people can really truly be wise, at least without some substantive help from God. That effort itself is a fool's errand.  The more I hear and listen and read and hear from people who sound really smart and think they are saying really smart things -- but then are actually really stupid, the more amazed I am that we've had some 6,000 years at least to be at least a little bit not-stupid. So much time to get it right, how in 6,000 years can so many still be so stupid. ::Sigh:: But then, it is biblical.  Scripture very clearly says everyone is as stupid as a rock. I know I have been, and when I go into that sickening denial mode, it is worse. In fact, it is sin, flat-out. About 10, 15 years ago I was driving in the morning to my work, which was then about 30 minutes away. I did what I sometimes did, and what I still do every once in a while but not too often these days because what is spewed there is almost always so agonizingly stupid -- I tuned into NP...

The Propaganda Machine for the Entrenched Child Sacrifice Program is Humming Along Quite Nicely

Image
In his 1917 book Gullible's Travels , Ring Lardner wrote, "You know they's lots o' words that's called fightin' words. Some o' them starts a brawl, no matter who they're spoken to." It is the origin of the phrase, " Them's fightin' words." Perfect context for a Truth Rule that is so widely dismissed, particularly by those who screech like banshees "Freedom of speech is the very very very most important thing ever!!!" The Truth Rule: Nobody says anything truly worthy unless they are permanently indentured to the Spirit of the Lord and can share actual freedom things. Yes, it is painfully ironic, but still categorically true nonetheless. Otherwise everything said that gets out there, especially those things going wide and deep into the cybersphere, are merely the most lethally dangerous mines in the planet-sized trolling field. Some pretty good things are actually shared in Project 2025, this policy initiative published by...
