The Massive System Subsidized Subdivision Network

One of my favorite film characters is Napoleon Dynamite. He is viciously authentic, idiosyncratically imaginative, fastidiously cynical, yet wants to enjoy the most meaningful relationships even with his bullying detractors however grudgingly. How joyfully engaging is his support of Pedro as he tries to win that election. How bountifully sincere is his friendship with Deb, with Alphaville's "Forever Young" playing in the background -- just heart-rendering. I have a great affinity with this kind of person, much as I do with Cassandra in Greek Legend and of course Jeremiah in Biblical Prophecy. I've shared a bit about the latter already in this web ministry effort, and part of my characteristic personality is being intensely attuned to World-vs-Kingdom kinds of things. Not going to get much into that since this isn't about me. I would rather it to be about those significant things there for anyone to discover, as much as I am something of an impassioned discoverer a...

July 14 1523: The Birth of the Modern World System

Image
It seems like anniversaries are the thing now, more vivid showcasing of them as ever. Just the other day July 4th featured the grandest exhibition I've ever seen of the power of all sorts of mortar, ordnance, munitions -- blinding and deafening in some instances, to the rapturous glee of all participants. Earlier last month it seemed lots of people liked to give some cred to "Juneteenth," you know, so they can viciously spout about how splendid their pretend "freedom" is. Even July 14th coming up in a week is celebrated a bit as the day when the common folk have the ganas  to pushback against the evil privileged hegemony by raiding the armory of a prison and commencing a period of wonton slaughter when everyone would really  see the meaning of  Liberté, égalité, fraternité!... ..." Ou la mort!" Huh. "Or death." Okay then... I'd like to think there are grand preparations all about for the actually significant anniversary, the one from 1523...

So It Is About Sexbots After All - Who'da Figured?

Image
I came across an interesting article in Daily Wire  today, and checked it out further on the NBC News website. It is about an influencer of some renown -- I'd never heard of her but then I don't pay much attention to any of these people -- who earned $70,000 in one week selling her "AI" "Chatbot" persona on-line. Apparently she'd spent many hours with computer engineers of some sort working it all out. Essentially, you can go out on a nice little date with this gal's "AI." Um, as long as you pay up. Hmm, I thought escort services were established precisely for this sort of thing? I thought, at least a while back, you could "Dial Debbie" and for $9.95 you could smooch with her over the phone for five minutes? But hey!  Now we have AI! There're chatbots that can say anything you want them to say! And  you can do it with your very favorite hot-babe influencer! And it'll sound really really  real! What was so goofy was the nu...

Another Sobering Truth Rule Most Gladly Dismiss

Image
Abigail Shrier has sort-of established herself as the go-to voice of reason in the discourse on whether or not in the name of courage and freedom and individuality and just plain wretched foolishness someone should mutilate their body and become some other type of biological being. The most typical one is a man or woman "transitioning" into a person of the opposite sex. From what I have seen and read of hers, I think her take is a bit limited -- it seems she's only interested in making the case against  children  doing it -- you know, adults are autonomous beings and never mind that there are all kinds of nefarious things adults can do too that are regularly and robustly censured by everyone all around. I do believe, however, Shrier is firmly against adult "transitioning" also, so I won't criticize her for something of which I am not certain. She may just want to be focusing on making sure our children are not criminally violated in these ways, so she's ...

The New Normal is the Same as the Old Normal

Image
This morning on the talk radio show I heard that 52% of the population are in favor of dissolving, dismissing, eliminating, forgiving all college student debt. 52%. More than half of the people in this country. Wow, how much people are absolutely clueless about the breadth of institutionalized theft they enthusiastically endorse. Indeed the usurious practices to begin with are just as exploitive, but not surprised so few really get it since so much of the populace is profoundly Catholicist -- that means they are given over to essential Roman Catholic doctrine no matter how unwittingly. Some of the most rabid atheists and rigid Protestants will scream bloody murder against such a thought, but, well... Just look. I just wanted to post here to introduce you to the latest Walter Veith presentation . Take a little while just to plug it into your ear pods, you don't even really have to watch it unless you want to read the material Veith presents that comes straight from the horse's m...

The Lethal Deceit of Pride

Image
Here we are right in the middle of "Pride Month" and all who join in the celebration are oblivious to the gruesome lethality such an action carries with it. I'll never forget being in Salt Lake City for a professional commitment in the middle of June of 2018 and accidentally coming across a "Pride" parade, and while I was aghast at the breadth of immorality that was on display in this thing, it struck me that this was happening in Salt Lake City , bastion of Mormon morality and rightness and goodosity. Thing is this kind of pride not only destroys those who partake but those around them who absorb the ideas, the propaganda, the demonic nature of the now irreversibly pandemic endeavor. Many will say, "What does what we  do with our bodies have to do with you? " Many will even say, "What they  do with their own lifestyle choices is their business as long as they keep it to themselves." Any and all of these sentiments, from those who like it and...

The Invisible Christ

Image
One of the very best thriller movies I have ever seen is The Invisible Man, the most recent one starring Elisabeth Moss. This film is classified as a horror film, but while I'm a fan of horror films, I can't stand slasher films which is what most of them are these days. Ptooie. But good thriller films I love, and The Invisible Man has launched itself into my top ten favorite films period . (Ironically there was a significant part of this film that featured some bloody slashing.) Thing is I haven't even seen the end of the film yet. I have gotten to the point in my life where I can't even watch a movie in one sitting. My binge watching is taking in a good film over the course of a few days, that's pretty much it. Right now I'm halfway through The Invisible Man  and I already think it is amazing. Wait, how is that when I haven't even seen the whole thing? By the way, I know nothing about what's going to happen next, but my guess is she retrieves the invisi...

Notorious RBG Certainly Deserved Her Notoriety

Image
Yesterday Associate Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg passed away. She was 87 and in poor health. Known as "Notorious RBG," a sobriquet of reverence to those who considered her a largely successful champion of their freedoms. She was a true hero to those whose god is their feelings -- I've recently written a bit about that idea I term  the pathodicy . From a news program I happened to screenshot this image. It struck me as quite profound, for you see, RBG was certainly doing the work of Georgetown University, the preeminent institution for public policy implementation and arrangement. She didn't attend the school or have a position there, but the photograph demonstrates she was engaged with it in some way. You'd think in this instance she was providing grand judicial wisdom for all, but instead she was merely reflecting on what she herself was so proficiently taught. There it is, Georgetown law  -- I thought, hmm, I thought she was into making sure the la...

What To Do With the Stupid Ideas of the Cancel Culture

Image
I can't neglect to put in a follow-up post to my last one  from just yesterday about how many hifalutin public figures put out a whiny letter in a major magazine issue telling us all that bad ideas need to be talked down, and how pointless that strategy is in confronting certain ideas. A very good friend shared with me the video below and it is one of the funniest things I've seen in a long time. What makes it so wonderful is that every single one of the ideas he ridicules is not just a bad idea, but a  stupid idea.  Some of them are just flat-out monumentally  stupid. (Oops, probably shouldn't have used the word "monumentally" there because that may trigger someone who dislikes monuments that may have been erected with some racist motivations...) So yeah, what do we do with stupid ideas? Yes, it might actually be quite justified to allow them to float about only so we may all heap the requisite amount of ribald mockery upon them. Really, makes life worth...

A Tale of Two NASCAR Drivers

Image
I love NASCAR racing. I actually like all auto racing. I love fast cars and fast car drivers duking it out on the speedway. When you have a favorite driver, even if you're picking a couple of them to win a ten-lap race at the local race track, it is a blast. Sometimes you're sadly disappointed, other times it is wonderfully exhilarating when your guy or gal wins. NASCAR is probably the most popular circuit out there right now, but I'd bet it's popularity will dwindle because of the racialist attacks against its most faithful fans. The sport has already seen a noticeable drop in attendance and viewership much because it has become too tied to identity politics. I mean, really, some people can only be called a bunch of racist rednecks so much. If you saw what happened this past Sunday, it wouldn't be surprising to see the stands remain empty even after the coronavirus hysteria has eased up a bit more and a few more fans are welcomed back to the tracks to watch rac...

Juneteenth, the Latest Opportunity for All White Racists to Finally Come Clean

Image
Juneteenth is upon us, tomorrow, June 19th, the trendy new holiday for gently but firmly reminding us all just how racist white people are. After all, blaring in our ears how slavery officially ended with the last official emancipation declaration in Texas on this date in 1865 is bound to get us to be finally convinced that we finally  ought to stop enslaving blacks with our still festering racist discrimination since it was all supposed to be taken care of way back then. After reading a bit more of the account of the New York Times  newsroom kerfuffle related to a white US Senator's op-ed about use of the military to protect person and property from violent rioters, I saw something I hadn't seen before, and it made me think. One of the things these endemically racialist-minded young staffers at the Times  did was share their fears that publishing the piece would threaten their fellow black colleagues. My mind had thoughts of white staffers telling the black ones,...
