The Exceedingly Baroque World We Occupy Today

Image
I was listening to a fine John Lennox speech put into a podcast, and it was precisely about the thrust of my own web ministry . It was called "The Greatest Deception the World Has Ever Seen," and sure enough it focused on Jesus' warning in the 24th chapter of Matthew that there would be quite a few Jesuses out there people would believe upon all the way up to the end of the age. It was a fine explication and worth listening to, it is here . Thing is, he did not get to the main  Anti-Christ to whom hundreds of millions of people give their undying devotion, the Roman Catholic Ecclesiocracy one. Mr. Lennox will never, ever mention it because he too is subsumed by the idea that really, Rome and True Biblical Christianity are close enough to each other that to dismiss the critically significant distinctions would be just too mean. At times when pressed he may certainly critique bits and pieces of it, most respectably Protestant-oriented folks do. But he simply cannot see how...

The Shining Factor

Image
Using "The Shining" is not hard, really, when simply identifying stupid people. The trick is you've got to ask The Deliverer to deliver you from your own propensity to be stupid. That  can be hard. I mention The Shining  because while I don't think it is the greatest horror movie ever, I do appreciate it. I wrote a bit about it in a blog a while back. There is a sequel too, Doctor Sleep , which is pretty good but too overbearing and self-aware, I think. It is weird, Stanley Kubrick can get away with those long drawn-out scenes full of meaning and intensity, just by the way he handles them. Other directors simply can't, which is why Doctor Sleep has great potential but just isn't even close in quality. Anyway, what makes both films compelling is they do make palpably real the malevolence that exists in the supernatural world. In film you can do it, though again I think Kubrick does it best with the people Jack and Danny encounter in The Shining . In Doctor Sle...

It Is About the Children, But It's Probably Not What You Think

Image
Last night I could not sleep, so for a bit I got up and did some web searching, but I was up during the time that Saturday Night Live was on the television, at least at the time it had been on in the past. Sure enough I'd noticed it was on at that time, from 11:30 to 1:00. I had not seen any part of an SNL show for many years, yet over those years I'd heard some things about it particularly related to its more controversial skits. So last night I thought I'd take a peek, just to see what it was like now. When I switched to the right channel a gal who I thought I heard called "Willow" did some singing. The song was the typical edgy one SNL has always been known to present from their musical guests, but the second one she sang a bit later in the show was just a stream of incomprehensible yelling and screeching into the microphone. What I found interesting is after each song she smiled and bowed to the audience, almost as if to virtue-signal "Look at me, just so...

The Juneteenth Mythology

Image
The Americanist enterprise sure does spectacularly with its grand mythology. The latest episode is the Juneteenth craze, the celebration that should now be pounded into our psyches commemorating the day shortly after the end of the US Civil War when the last slaves were pronounced to be free. I wrote some blog posts back in 2020 about the phenomenon, so I won't detail it much here, but I wanted to share some thoughts about a key idea embedded in the whole thing. Indeed it is really the raison d'etre  of the whole thing. It is gathering so much steam, by the way, that I'd read 30% of the workforce is taking the day off today, this Monday after the 19th. I'm sure that percentage will grow as the mainstream mass media mandarins rev up the racialist tropes. "Don't pay the requisite amount of respect for the Juneteenth holiday? It's obvious you're a racist." Except for one thing. See, the whole thing rests on the idea that slavery ended on that June 19...

Even More on the Vast and Wide-Reaching Religion of the Most Righteous Wokeist

Image
I have to pound out a quick post just give you a heads-up on another article , this one from a gentleman over at The Libertarian Institute  courtesy of ZeroHedge  (the image is from that page as well, thank you to them) that boldly and articulately lays out the ironclad case that, yes, indeed, Everything is religion. Everything. There is nothing that isn't. Scientists today in the sworn service of Caesar -- quite authoritative, legitimate, and necessary -- are really just priests performing the liturgically mandated sacrificial duties of Cain's Legacy. They are so good! They are -- no one is saying they aren't! They do very good sciency kinds of things . But it is still religion, and it still involves human sacrifice. You can read all about how God set the whole thing in motion back there at the time of the fourth chapter of Genesis. He did it deliberately because He knew there would simply be some who would refuse to worship Him in Spirit and in Truth. So Cain was given th...

The Successor Ideology is the Same as the Predecessor Ideology

Image
Uber-journalist Matt Taibbi has introduced us to an interesting concept invented by one, Wesley Yang , referring to the real substance of the revolutionary leftist takeover of the American culture. Everyone screeching about the horrors of Critical Race Theory  are really just being drawn into a battle they cannot win. Of course they cannot win it. It is because God is permitting it to proceed. If God wasn't, it wouldn't be happening. Does evil come from God? Of course not. But that's just the point. The evil comes from the hearts of unrepentant humans whose savior is the Successor Ideology or the Predecessor Ideology, whichever one. It is scripturally established that God may very well send sword, famine, or pestilence to a nation that turns against His law, but that is not Him, it is them . The only way they can see the extent of their evil is to see the consequences of that evil. Then perhaps the repentance. The Successor Ideology, by the way -- at least from what I can ...

The Politics of Witchcraft, Revisited

Image
I recently came across this piece about renowned pastor Tim Keller announcing that we really shouldn't be so mean. Jesus wasn't mean, so we shouldn't either. The piece does a terrific job of calling out Keller for his misunderstanding of Scripture and Who Jesus Is. The rampaging leftist hegemony is all about ruthless enforcement of its "anti-mean" mandates. No meanness in that at all. Coca-Cola was shredded a new aye-hole itself for insisting people be "less white," which to them means "less arrogant" (you mean unlike the arrogance of your assumptions about others' own personal sentiments about race?), "less certain" (you mean unlike the certainty that what you're telling us right now is true and not totally bat-shit crazy?) and "less defensive" (you mean unlike your ferocious defense of these racialist principles you are shoving in our faces now?) Indeed Tim Keller is faced with the exact same logical predicament. ...

The Story of Annie

Image
The very first Rick and Morty episode I saw was one that I'd seen had received some notoriety as one of the best of all the episodes so far. It was called "Total Rickall," and its acclaim is indeed well-deserved. Rick comes into the dining room and is met at the table by his family who are sharing fond memories with Uncle Steve. After a moment Rick takes out a blaster weapon of some kind and blows away Uncle Steve. Everyone is horrified. Turns out "Uncle Steve" is really just an alien capable of not only making itself look like someone familiar but implanting memories in your brain about that someone in order for you to believe you've been delightfully acquainted with them for quite some time. Through the episode we see many of these creatures appear in the home of Rick's family and carry on as devoted family members and friends, but because of the implanted memories it is hopelessly impossible to distinguish who is who. It is an outstanding premise and...

The Radioactive American

Image
There is so much to consider regarding what happened this past week. One thing is for sure. January 6 was the date half of Americans were officially designated persona non grata . The Stalinist program of marginalization ostracism humiliation cancellation remonstration demonization prosecution conviction termination elimination is now moving forward at breakneck speed. When a constitutional attorney commentator on a cable news program was asked why the Democrat Congress is seeking to take down President Trump with a mere 12 days left in his term -- by either the 25th amendment or impeachment -- he responded with an amazing answer.  "They want to make Trump radioactive." All week the news media have been going crazy portraying Trump supporters as domestic terrorists participating in an insurrection or attempting a coup. Go watch. Just listen. Read it anywhere a New York Times subdivision has a huge forum for its System propaganda. You even remotely support  anything  that ...

Magnificent Acceptance, Christmas Season Edition

Image
I have a confession to make. Too often I just can't see the forest through the trees. God blesses me tremendously to sit with me every morning and abundantly share His words with me, and then listen to my own heart when I praise Him and tell Him my concerns. I'm not sharing this to boast about my piety at all, sorry, again, this is just a confession -- that sometimes I catch something happening and just wonder why I didn't quite get that before. Reading this article was an eye-opener with regards to how someone like George Gascon can be elected into a position that requires him to crack heads, yet prove himself to be someone who has expressly demonstrated that he'll do radical things as Los Angeles District Attorney that will not accomplish that goal. How did he get there? Ahh. I see. It is indeed something I've already written about , but something I don't think anyone can get without a robust biblical perspective on the way things are. I almost didn't get...

Magnificent Acceptance

Image
On my long walk the other day I was ruminating on the contemptibly massive dissipation of the pretty decent things we've enjoyed for some time in this United States. Many are a bit upset about how this recent presidential election was stolen from Donald Trump, and it definitely was.  It is far more disturbing to realize how few understand it should be way more soul-crushing to observe that there are in this United States so many people who are willing to cast an official registration of their desires (by their vote in a civil election) for more proliferated sexual assault crimes (any promotion and enabling of LGBT+ activity), more destruction of people's legitimately earned income and wealth (gruesomely distended public assistance programs and abusive monetary policy mandates), more of the explosively ugly bearing false witness (rampant accusations of some absurd identity politics violation obliterating lives and livelihoods), and the latest, more pounding down the stultifying...

Cain's Proficiently Functioning Legacy Is All Over This

Image
The most ferociously truthful people on the planet right now are Sidney Powell and Lin Wood. They know, based on the plain evidence, that powerful deep politics operatives manipulated election procedures and protocols to ensure the retrogressive movement gets more of a foothold in our world. Not to worry, this has happened hundreds of times before through the millennia, and if you decide you want to be in the full abiding care of The Shepherd you should have no care at all. It is good to be at least a bit aware of the horror He delivers the soul from. My latest home page piece gets a bit more into this, I invite you to take a look. I appreciate you readership. But Powell and Wood seem to be the only ones with the cajones  to actually fight for truthful political things. They know Trump won reelection by millions of votes. They've now urged a boycott of the senatorial run-off elections in Georgia January 5th because they know that Georgia's election processing is such a mess th...

The Reality Just Isn't All That

Image
The current election pronouncements reveal a splendidly truthful thing postmodern philosophers posited years ago. The simulacra are more important than the reality . Postmodernists generally dismiss truthful things anyway as only so much power. Nothing is really truthful anyway, thus the simulacra become the reality . This is just a fancy term that refers to the reigning projections, or the embraced imageries of things people believe are real. Since there is no reality, the simulacra will do. Nothing could explain the current Biden-Harris-Democrat-Technocrat-Media falling all over themselves pretending to be president of the United States. It doesn't really matter who is president, he or she is and always has been under the authoritative instruction of Rome's deepest operative potentates anyway... but wow, is this a spectacle! Come on people! You can't beat this show! Just ride with it -- it is so much fun! You gotta admit: it is thrilling to feel like you've just clock...

Trotsky's Pathodicy

Image
Today is the 80th anniversary of the death of Leon Trotsky. It's not that I had this date marked on my calendar for a long time -- I just happened to come across that fact the other day. Eighty years ago Trotsky succumbed to wounds suffered the day before when he was summarily pick-axed in the head by a Stalinist agent. Huh. Don't see many people commemorating the event. Oh there are a few brief notes in a handful of Marxist sites, they're there. But the less you know about the real history of Marxist thought and practice as a legitimate tool of Cain's hegemony, the better. That's the idea anyway, except the way things are going now I'm starting to see it doesn't much matter anymore. For you see, Trotsky is quite the heroic figure to those holding a more purist form of Marxist sentiment. He was more of a "democratic socialist," you know, fighting for a gentler, kinder form of economic totalitarianism. That baaad man  Stalin -- no, he just wants a r...
