The Baroque Enlightened War in All Its Glory

Image
Because of the all the rage now about the presently elevated belligerence in the Middle East, the Pope recently said some things about war being very very bad. Taken as somewhat controversial, his good dutiful Catholicists then started trollee'ing like crazy, responding that sometimes we must fight and the Bible says people fought when needed and when there is evil we must fight it and this reason to fight and that reason to fight and so on. Trollees. Precisely what delights Rome to no end. It is indeed extraordinarily sorrowful that so, so many are just raging Catholicists either embracing that Body of Death like crazy or squealing loudly against it in some way or another. If they actually read God's Word with a deep abiding faith in Christ and as such listened to the counsel of the Holy Spirit which would be dwelling in their hearts, they'd get it. They'd get Kingdom things. The Roman Catholic-dominated World System zealots from the poorest to the richest simply don...

The Exceedingly Baroque World We Occupy Today

Image
I was listening to a fine John Lennox speech put into a podcast, and it was precisely about the thrust of my own web ministry . It was called "The Greatest Deception the World Has Ever Seen," and sure enough it focused on Jesus' warning in the 24th chapter of Matthew that there would be quite a few Jesuses out there people would believe upon all the way up to the end of the age. It was a fine explication and worth listening to, it is here . Thing is, he did not get to the main  Anti-Christ to whom hundreds of millions of people give their undying devotion, the Roman Catholic Ecclesiocracy one. Mr. Lennox will never, ever mention it because he too is subsumed by the idea that really, Rome and True Biblical Christianity are close enough to each other that to dismiss the critically significant distinctions would be just too mean. At times when pressed he may certainly critique bits and pieces of it, most respectably Protestant-oriented folks do. But he simply cannot see how...

The Most Valuable Thing in a Baroque Dominated World

Image
Know what the most valuable thing in the world is right now? Well, it has in some sense been the most valuable thing ever, but things are happening now that amplify this truth. Gold? Nah, just shiny yellow rocks, and the gold hawkers are starting to be a little more exposed for ripping off their customers. Cash? Green pieces of paper rapidly being replaced by the inflation and the digital. Stocks, bonds, funds, commodities, property, your very own house --  something  asset-oriented? Who knows what anything is valued there, really, except what the Institutions say they are. Ahh, crypto! Eh, just computer numbers the value of which are so volatile they are effectively worthless. Oh, yeah: your own education, knowledge, and experience! Umm, if it is simply System-infused atheist materialist humanist dreck it is all Hell anyway. No, the most valuable thing is data . You can tell with the obsession the rich and powerful have with it. You can see how much they want to keep on keepi...

What Happens on the World Theater Stage is Not What It Is

Image
Today fine conservative influencer Charlie Kirk was shot dead at one of his very popular "Change My Mind" type college campus events. It was absolutely shocking news to most everyone -- so accomplished at such a young age, he got deep into the most visible platforms of the culture war discourse yet did so with graciousness and respect no matter who he spoke with or about. He did want to tell the truth about things, and yes, it may have pushed the boundaries of the Overton Window. Everyone will say something about why it happened, much of which is meaningless, really. It is just part of the theater created to keep imaginations catastrophized. Ironically tomorrow is the anniversary of one of the most major of these events, 9/11. Sadly it appeared Kirk had his carotid artery shattered by the bullet, exactly the kind of wound suffered by Martin Luther King Jr. at the hand of a sniper. Thing is, as most good World System factualists (sometimes unfairly tarred as conspiracy theoris...

Every Day of the Civil War is the Fifth of November

Image
It seems everyone really likes making FREEDOM  and DEMOCRACY and WE-SIMPLY-MUST-DO-ANYTHING-NECESSARY- TO-STOP-DICTATORS their supremely sovereign gods. How many times do I hear about how much of an "existential threat" some powerful government official will be if he or she gets into some position of authority. Never mind that for several years now people have been childishly using the word existential  as if it related to fears about not existing, when it means nothing of the sort. But it is part of the fiercely distended liturgy, so, well. The truth that just about everybody who blaps incessantly about political matters simply refuses to get is that there is no democracy. There is no freedom. There is always  an autocracy. Always has been. Always will be. This isn't that those things considered democratic ideals  are not desired. Having a say in what happens in your community, even your nation is not a bad thing. Being able to make your own decisions about the valu...

The Most Servile Obedience to the Understanding

Image
Scouring a few of the things widely blapped out there as I do for a bit each day, I came across this  from Eric Weinstein, speaking about something Mike Benz talked about, shared in a podcast called Modern Wisdom  and reposted over at ZeroHedge. ::Whew:: Nkay, here's what he said: "(T)he rules-based international order (is) an interlocking of agreements, tacit understandings, explicit understandings, and clandestine understandings about how the most important structures keep the world free of war and keep markets open." This was shared with a lot of other pontificating about deep-state activity along with a pretext that Donald Trump has been disrupting the uni-party status quo... annnnnd all those who are right up there in charge of valiantly trying to uphold the "understandings" are getting a bit nervous. No they're not. Not at all, not in any way. As long as there is a nation full of rich full-blooded card-carrying Roman Catholicists out there who'll f...

The Civil War Reality

Image
Have you been seeing this image, or really a very fine GIF used in memes? I don't know, maybe it's been employed much more often and I just haven't noticed, but I've seen it a few times. The latest was something about this being the IT guy coming into work after this morning's major global Microsoft update disaster that grounded flights, impeded distribution center activity, and messed up hospital care, among many other bad things. I discovered it is from a scene in a Pirates of the Caribbean  movie when some huge 18th century battleship is obliterated -- I mean utterly destroyed -- with lots of massive explosions and wounded sailors flying all about and parts of the ship crushing bodies and cries of agony filling the air and a culmination featuring a gargantuan fireball reaching to the skies and all the rest of it. All the while the captain is confidently but of course morosely resigned to his quite imminent wretched demise as he saunters down the ship's middle...

The Boss Troll War

Image
I can't help but begin this follow-up post to the latest in my "We're all just trollees" thread with this screenshot of a video showing a toddler being fitted with glasses so he could see, for what is effectively the first time ever. It is just heart-rendering to watch, and see the smile on his face when he can see, especially since his first clear sight is that of his beaming parents. The reason I'm leading with this simply amazing photograph is I definitely see this as a tremendously profound metaphor for what happens when Christ gives sight to not only the blind, but to the wicked, the foolish, the devious, and the stupid. When they actually see glory of the One and Only Savior, the magnitude of his mercy and forgiveness, and the overwhelming beauty of the Kingdom -- well, Scripture tells us angels in Heaven rejoice. In my latest home page piece I made a valiant attempt to be simple with my exposition of the World-Kingdom distinction, and while I believe what ...

Don't Worry, I'm a Trollee Too

Image
I had hoped to put up an expansive follow-up post to my "There are only trolling fields" thread, but it is just too much. I've shared it before, there is just so much tremendously abject folly sloshing about everywhere that it does just get to be overwhelming. I just don't have time to address it all -- and I do so only in the name of my blessed Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and only so others who do happen to come across these words will seek to enter the Kingdom by the Only Way In. But then, wow, I see so much out there from fools who with their rigidly entrenched Epicurean ideology go waaay out of their way to make people like me look crazy. Sharing Christ and Kingdom can be quite daunting! But then, that's precisely what I must confess in this post. All the filth spewed out by so many in a richly Catholicist nation cannot dampen the power of God's Word to penetrate hard hearts. Yet  then  I can see how much of a trollee I  am. I see the ugliness and I just...

The Jericho War

Image
I'd like to put up a brief post as just a follow-up to my last post about the millennia-long world war that wages interminably all about. In my devotional time this morning I was reading the passage that I think does the best in elucidating the ungrafted church's mentality and behavior in the face of the roiling evil that spews regularly from a fully Catholicized World . Here, I cannot go any further without sharing a good part of it with you: Therefore, since through God’s mercy we have this ministry, we do not lose heart. Rather, we have renounced secret and shameful ways; we do not use deception, nor do we distort the word of God. On the contrary, by setting forth the truth plainly we commend ourselves to everyone’s conscience in the sight of God. And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the ima...
