We All Though Really Just Really Really Want To Be In The Great Big Club

Image
I was listening to a Greg Koukl podcast interview with fellow apologist Tim Barnett and it was all about the "AI." Very good stuff, there is always something new to discover not just about what should be called SPIT (Superfast Processing Information Technology) but how people are thinking about it and more importantly being captivated by what the Romanist mandarins are doing with it. Tim brought up something about it that relates to the seriously entrenched echo chambers the whole chatbot obsession is creating -- perfectly what the Jesuits want to happen!  -- everyone just living comfortably in their own "cognitive universes," as another pundit called them.  One of the examples Tim shared was how some detractors will incessantly post the notion that Christianity was the most oppressive, imperialist, just-plain-rotten thing that ever happened, you know the trope. Tim added in his own web efforts Red Pen Logic  he has had to set the record straight with all the great ...

Floods

I confess I am not a fan of July 4th festivities. I know this will get me in big trouble with the more zealously patriotic set. It isn't that I don't appreciate what we enjoy in the United States, I am always doing what my Lord asks me to do and pray for the people in it, even those in significant positions of leadership whomever they may be.  I could detail some of why I feel the way I do, but really, I'd just be trolling, and encouraging trollee'ing. Why. I will say, however, that yesterday -- on this day of grandiose celebration of good wholesome all-American things -- a sudden massive rainfall led to catastrophic flooding in central Texas. Already some two dozen are confirmed dead and many more are still missing. Over 200 hundred people have been rescued by courageous and industrious emergency personnel, so that is a very good blessing -- that there are that many people smart and prepared to do that. Still, where were the smart and prepared people to fastidiously ex...

The Reality We Like the Fantasy to Conceal

Image
The other night I was out on my evening walk with a very nice John Jarvis tune streaming in my cranium. Passing by was a vehicle driven by a young man and sure enough, as I'm sure you've encountered, his music was hammering the environs and it was nothing but inharmonious bass and droning voices that sounded like they were coming from Hell. As I've shared many times before, I hurt for young people, young adults who are merely children in big-people bodies who've been raised by children in big-people bodies who themselves have been raised by products of the 60s most susceptible to the brilliant but wholly wicked designs against them by Rome's militant operatives employing the most sophisticated means of human sacrifice to do its work as Cain's Legacy. I know, I've taught them in a formal educational setting for some 35 years now. I still do, very likely now teaching their  children. Two pieces to share with you, might be worth reading. Todd Hayen wrote about ...

The Massive System Subsidized Subdivision Network

One of my favorite film characters is Napoleon Dynamite. He is viciously authentic, idiosyncratically imaginative, fastidiously cynical, yet wants to enjoy the most meaningful relationships even with his bullying detractors however grudgingly. How joyfully engaging is his support of Pedro as he tries to win that election. How bountifully sincere is his friendship with Deb, with Alphaville's "Forever Young" playing in the background -- just heart-rendering. I have a great affinity with this kind of person, much as I do with Cassandra in Greek Legend and of course Jeremiah in Biblical Prophecy. I've shared a bit about the latter already in this web ministry effort, and part of my characteristic personality is being intensely attuned to World-vs-Kingdom kinds of things. Not going to get much into that since this isn't about me. I would rather it to be about those significant things there for anyone to discover, as much as I am something of an impassioned discoverer a...

There is No Such Thing as Freedom of Speech, Only Trolling Fields - Redux

Image
I came across a couple more monographs about the impending war, the real live physical one we're about to enjoy as a result of all the horrific emotional and spiritual violence spewed about right now. I'd written about it a bit recently in this blog effort , and ruminated a bit just as these fellows did about how expansive and even secessionist it will get. That emotional and spiritual violence?  You can't miss it in all the things people are saying to one another out there. It is worse with readily available social media content splashed everywhere -- the world is now just one big massive trolling field. Last September I put up a blog post about this thing, Freedom of Speech , sharing something I've shared in various places, a Truth Rule if you will. There is no such thing as freedom of speech. Sure we think we can say what we want and in good ol' America you'd think you'd be free to say anything you want and it's really a nice feature of the good ol...

What It Is, 2024 Edition

Image
With the year 2024 looking like it will be something of an explosive one, I thought I'd just direct you to a piece from Off-Guardian  yesterday, a fine exposition by its editor Kit Knightly. It does a pretty decent job of sharing precisely why so many people, especially people in some positions of power, do incredibly stupid things. In simple terms it is because they are so beholden to the Big Lie to which all World inhabitants and all System mandarins must give their utmost fealty. Knightly's piece had me considering it a sort-of present-day rendition of Tupper Saussy's epilogue in his book Tennessee Waltz called "The Politics of Witchcraft." In that very real sense anyone who is in a position of authority in Cain's Legacy are bound by what he called the "lie contract." Thing is Knightly does not do the one thing I don't think he can do without fearing some kind of repercussion -- hey, no worries, I always fear some sorts of repercussions for w...

The Rationale of an Excommunication

Image
My recent home page piece gets a bit into my own professional life, and the experiences I have had with the now entrenched woke  hegemony. I have been an experienced and reasonably decorated school teacher for now about 35 years. Most of that time was spent teaching high school Civics and Economics in the public school system, and certainly being a devout follower of Christ I have wondered if readers of my webzine and blog might wonder, "How could you be situated in such a System institution like that?" I have indeed thought about assembling something of a comprehensive polemic to answer that question, and I'm afraid I cannot do that now. It is simply because there is so much to it, including my consideration that people like Joseph and Daniel were in the service of Caesar in some high office yet still served Christ and loved others where they were. I have also had the opportunity to share Christ's love with thousands of students, some hundred of whom actively and vo...

There is No Such Thing as Freedom of Speech, Only Trolling Fields

I've come across an amazing proverb in the Bible that lends biblical weight to the idea that words murder. Wow do so many screech about how much they should be able to say ANYTHING THEY WANT DAMMIT, but the reality is different. That proverb, it is the ninth in the eleventh chapter: "With their mouths the godless destroy their neighbors, but through knowledge the righteous escape." People are going to say stuff no matter what any schnazzy founding document says about prohibitions against government suppression of expression. And no matter what stout proclamations are made or how many blap loudly JUST HOW MUCH FREEDOM OF SPEECH IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING EVER!!! -- words are life or they are death irrespective of any perceived freedom  to do any given thing. As much as words are indeed death, they are human sacrifice if employed by Cain's duly authorized mandarins or those given over to their designs. (That, by the way, is mentioned in the 21st verse of the 18th chapt...
