Recently a major professional sports player said some things that offended the woke hegemonic voices and forced their hand to proceed with the requisite cancellation. The team was holding one of its sadly now-quite-typical "Pride" celebrations, and he objected saying it was unrighteous. He did add that as a follower of Christ he could not in good conscience participate in such an event. Often players are expected to have rainbow-ish items added to their uniforms, and perhaps even spit up a good word about how much they respect the courage and experience of anyone embracing LGBTQ anything. Because the player said what he said, he was released from the team, and the team expressly and very publicly cited his remarks as the reason why, you know, "...for something-something detrimental to blah-blah." Recently came across another fine exposition by Todd Hayen over at Off-Guardian . It splendidly echoes the Truth Rules shared in my last post : That the System manufactures "realities" to compel people's "obedience to the understanding," and with the latest "A.I." CGI capabilities that will become more and more proficiently accomplished. Hayen emphasizes the System principle pounded into the mainstream psyche that the main rule of life is you can make your own rule of life, indeed that you can choose your own reality. He does fine work to speak to this principle's untenable logic, one that has actually been known of for millennia. If my  "reality" is different from your "reality," how can there be one true reality? And if there isn't, then what is the value of any  "reality" if, yes, none are actually real? Just saw a post from a decent economist about how working men are vanishing. He pointed out today 1 in 7 men have pretty-much checked out and are doing nothing. Being homeless, sitting in the basement playing video games, whatever thing not engaged in a single meaningfully productive effort of any kind. In 1950 that number was 1 in 40. I mention this because I concluded my last post with a mention of Joy Pullman's piece about the twisting around of male-female innate roles, responsibilities, duties, and just how much that has destroyed our society. This little factoid from the economist is testament to the wicked product this present ugly reality. I have given up seeing if people can really truly be wise, at least without some substantive help from God. That effort itself is a fool's errand.  The more I hear and listen and read and hear from people who sound really smart and think they are saying really smart things -- but then are actually really stupid, the more amazed I am that we've had some 6,000 years at least to be at least a little bit not-stupid. With the year 2024 looking like it will be something of an explosive one, I thought I'd just direct you to a piece from Off-Guardian  yesterday, a fine exposition by its editor Kit Knightly. It does a pretty decent job of sharing precisely why so many people, especially people in some positions of power, do incredibly stupid things. In simple terms it is because they are so beholden to the Big Lie to which all World inhabitants and all System mandarins must give their utmost fealty. My recent home page piece gets a bit into my own professional life, and the experiences I have had with the now entrenched woke  hegemony. I have been an experienced and reasonably decorated school teacher for now about 35 years. Most of that time was spent teaching high school Civics and Economics in the public school system, and certainly being a devout follower of Christ I have wondered if readers of my webzine and blog might wonder, "How could you be situated in such a System institution like that?" I have indeed thought about assembling something of a comprehensive polemic to answer that question, and I'm afraid I cannot do that now. It is simply because there is so much to it, including my consideration that people like Joseph and Daniel were in the service of Caesar in some high office yet still served Christ and loved others where they were. Just a quick post to update you a bit on some of the things I've been seeing and pondering. This'd be pretty long if I touched on all of it, but just a few things here for now. Yesterday picked up Edward Ring's latest piece . I've shared before I think he is one of the best at illuminating things out there, though again like most he'll never get to the truth that all of it is generated by Rome at the behest of every human's request that it crack heads for the mitigation of his/her evildoing. Anyway, you can get those truths in Scripture and maybe a bit more in my own writing ministry work which is only designed to direct you to Scripture and to understanding the evil the System routinely does and only then  to Christ and Kingdom and the only freedom that is worth anything. There it is. The date I'm posting for the day when we'll actually see what this present cultural hellscape will bring. This is not any prediction of Jesus' return or anything like. It is just I've been thinking about the horrific woke sewer that is bilging into everything and wondering -- what precisely is this all going to look like, three, four years from now? So this past Saturday, July 1 2023, I thought I'd put a firm date to it. Exactly four years to the day from that date. That date itself is insignificant, but again the thought, what is our country going to look like when we arrive at that date? What will our planet  look like? Will something have happened over that time period that on that date everything will look violently different than it does today? It is indeed my consideration that it will. I came across an interesting article in Daily Wire  today, and checked it out further on the NBC News website. It is about an influencer of some renown -- I'd never heard of her but then I don't pay much attention to any of these people -- who earned $70,000 in one week selling her "AI" "Chatbot" persona on-line. Apparently she'd spent many hours with computer engineers of some sort working it all out. Essentially, you can go out on a nice little date with this gal's "AI." Um, as long as you pay up. Hmm, I thought escort services were established precisely for this sort of thing? I thought, at least a while back, you could "Dial Debbie" and for $9.95 you could smooch with her over the phone for five minutes? But hey!  Now we have AI! I have to add a bit related to my post from just yesterday about the great and grand thing freedom of speech . I blogged about it to introduce my most recent home page piece , and some of it was about the most prominent social media platform Twitter.  After I made that post Elon Musk finally started releasing internal memos about what the US government was doing to censor damning information about a candidate for US president, namely Joe Biden, to give him a pronounced advantage in winning that election. It related to the clear and obvious corruption of the Biden family while he was a top executive official, information that would have severely compromised his chances to win the presidency. This breaking news has been met with complete silence by the mainstream news media outlets, all of them have gone dark on it since the release. More information will be forthcoming.
