Massive Trolling Minefield Alert! USAID stuff! Be Careful Out There!

Image
Here I go again, right into the Trolling Minefield, stomping all over it in my bare feet. But, well, I'm committed to blogging every once in a while to continue to elucidate one of the most important Truth Rules of them all for anyone who will ask Christ to allow them to understand it: There is a Kingdom, and there is a World System. The System is made to look like the Kingdom but it isn't, by light years, and that window dressing is exclusively by the work of the Roman Catholic Ecclesiocracy. Unrepentant evildoers hate that, but that  evildoing institution must  be there to crack heads of those evildoers in myriad imaginative ways -- been doing so for millennia. The Kingdom, however, where Christ is, is where the authentic freedom, deliverance, salvation, contentment, and joy resides. It is only there, and you may only get there by accepting His invitation. That's it. All other attempts are mere trespassing. There, there's the thrust of my webzine work . Right there. I...

July 14 1523: The Birth of the Modern World System

Image
It seems like anniversaries are the thing now, more vivid showcasing of them as ever. Just the other day July 4th featured the grandest exhibition I've ever seen of the power of all sorts of mortar, ordnance, munitions -- blinding and deafening in some instances, to the rapturous glee of all participants. Earlier last month it seemed lots of people liked to give some cred to "Juneteenth," you know, so they can viciously spout about how splendid their pretend "freedom" is. Even July 14th coming up in a week is celebrated a bit as the day when the common folk have the ganas  to pushback against the evil privileged hegemony by raiding the armory of a prison and commencing a period of wonton slaughter when everyone would really  see the meaning of  Liberté, égalité, fraternité!... ..." Ou la mort!" Huh. "Or death." Okay then... I'd like to think there are grand preparations all about for the actually significant anniversary, the one from 1523...

It Is About the Children, But It's Probably Not What You Think

Image
Last night I could not sleep, so for a bit I got up and did some web searching, but I was up during the time that Saturday Night Live was on the television, at least at the time it had been on in the past. Sure enough I'd noticed it was on at that time, from 11:30 to 1:00. I had not seen any part of an SNL show for many years, yet over those years I'd heard some things about it particularly related to its more controversial skits. So last night I thought I'd take a peek, just to see what it was like now. When I switched to the right channel a gal who I thought I heard called "Willow" did some singing. The song was the typical edgy one SNL has always been known to present from their musical guests, but the second one she sang a bit later in the show was just a stream of incomprehensible yelling and screeching into the microphone. What I found interesting is after each song she smiled and bowed to the audience, almost as if to virtue-signal "Look at me, just so...

Regularly Scheduled Tuesday Grieving Sessions - We Got Another Really Good One Yesterday

Image
There is a scene in the film All the President's Men when Washington Post reporters Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein, working hard to find the good dirt on President Richard Nixon, are making their way to the house of one of Nixon's administrative operatives to try to get him to talk. As they stroll along the front of these spiffy-looking Brownstone-like homes, one of them remarks about the people inside, just living their lives, doing their thing, mostly oblivious to what is really going on outside of their cognitive domain. I think about this very brief, seemingly incidental scene quite often. I do so when looking into the eyes of so many people I encounter. I look and I just see so much ugliness and darkness in there, there in their souls. It doesn't matter how smiley they are or how well their hair is coiffed or how nicely dressed they are. They are ultimately all about wreaking havoc on the rest of the world in whatever way their psyche has been trained to do so. Please...

The Juneteenth Mythology

Image
The Americanist enterprise sure does spectacularly with its grand mythology. The latest episode is the Juneteenth craze, the celebration that should now be pounded into our psyches commemorating the day shortly after the end of the US Civil War when the last slaves were pronounced to be free. I wrote some blog posts back in 2020 about the phenomenon, so I won't detail it much here, but I wanted to share some thoughts about a key idea embedded in the whole thing. Indeed it is really the raison d'etre  of the whole thing. It is gathering so much steam, by the way, that I'd read 30% of the workforce is taking the day off today, this Monday after the 19th. I'm sure that percentage will grow as the mainstream mass media mandarins rev up the racialist tropes. "Don't pay the requisite amount of respect for the Juneteenth holiday? It's obvious you're a racist." Except for one thing. See, the whole thing rests on the idea that slavery ended on that June 19...

Lethal Emotional Violence

Today multibillionaire Elon Musk finalized his deal to make Twitter his own private company, thereby opening it up as the free speech platform it was supposedly meant to be. I am actually all for that, much because Twitter has essentially become the  public utility for the town-square meta-communication platform. Just as you really need only one energy company to pump electricity to everyone in town, it works best to have one such web network to pump in the ideas for everyone to consider. People will say "Twitter can do what it wants with its own private decisions, even if that means censoring what it wants, and  if you don't like it make your own."  Some have, and, well, they're crap. Gab, Parler, Gettr, Truth Social I believe is Trump's recent attempt. Technologically it is easy to have something like this. What sets Twitter apart is two key things: it is indeed an excellent interactive communication network, exceptionally well designed, arranged, and accessible...

A Whole World of Useful Victims

Image
Bari Weiss has gotten a bit of wide airplay for her courage in calling out the stuff the System vomits into the mainstream psyche. She once was a big-shot writer or editor of some sort at the New York Times and her sensitive conscience simply could not be tamed. She's shared much over the past year or so, but the one thing I wanted to bring to this blog post was her Substack publication of a letter by a parent pulling his daughter from a prestigious school in New York. That letter is here , I urge you to read it. I am, however, discovering more and more about how Rome's designs are making their way deeper and deeper into the discursive activity around us. Well, really, it has always  been there, I believe I'm just recognizing it more, yet getting more discouraged. Please no worries, I know my Lord has got this.  But it is still sorrowful  in that so many don't get that . I still feel it. I'd like to note something really simple, for instance. He points out that crit...

The Book of Eli and the Kingdom Cancel Culture

Image
There are two motion pictures that have half-hour long conclusions that I have seen dozens of times. I don't watch or even remember much of the regular bulk of those films because they are far too crushingly depressing, but that is some of why those particular segments are so transcendently transformative. The films are The Shawshank Redemption  and The Book of Eli . Not going to get into Shawshank  right now, and if you know the film and know the substance of that last half-hour or so, you know. You may be like me with tears flowing from my soul as Red settles into his seat for that bus ride to the border. Same thing with The Book of Eli . When that brand new makeshift printing press on Alcatraz Island is printing up those pages, my soul just streams those tears. But again, it isn't just the divinely powerful redemptive quality of the story, it is the contrast to the pure evil. In and around the completion of Eli's mission there at the end, we see Carnegie consummating his...

Cancel Culture Eats Another of Its Own

Image
Bari Weiss, top opinion editor at The New York Times, resigned today. Why is this story so major? It is because apparently Weiss was striving to be a mitigating force against the marauding leftist spiritual violence that has devastated this country. It seems she too was on the side of many of those hifalutin people who were on board with this widely publicized letter in Harper's  all about dialing back the vitriol against anyone not at the farthest left flank of the ideological spectrum. These Harper's letter people were essentially saying "We must fight bad ideas with talking them out, and the cancel culture is keeping people from exercising their freedom of speech even if their ideas are repulsive." That was the idea anyway. It is a claim made by those on the right, also, this idea that "Let's just respect freedom of speech OKAY?!" There is a very pronounced problem with that, one that those on the left at least understand as misguided as the...

Another Slavery Beyond Juneteenth, One of the Most Crushing (and Necessary)

Image
An item showed up in a Facebook post about someone who fears. When you read this brief part of a longer passage, you'll see why the witch hunt is so frightening. It is obvious that a key element of the racialist crusade is to ferociously perpetuate the greatest anxiety in the hearts of whites as a punishment for all the racist crimes the crusaders have been spotlighting for optimum virtue-signaling. Anyway, here it is, the conclusion to a piece about the insane things that make up the roiling racialist and coronavirus hysteria: "If you are silent you are part of the problem. If you speak, you are part of the problem. If you have to ask, you don’t understand. If you don’t ask, you don’t care.  It’s all so predictable, tedious, and exhausting. Nothing adds up. It’s one gigantic math life problem, with ever changing denominators that I’m sure the media and politicians are eagerly ready to solve for us... until the next 'crisis.'" What a terrific explanation of...

A Tale of Two NASCAR Drivers

Image
I love NASCAR racing. I actually like all auto racing. I love fast cars and fast car drivers duking it out on the speedway. When you have a favorite driver, even if you're picking a couple of them to win a ten-lap race at the local race track, it is a blast. Sometimes you're sadly disappointed, other times it is wonderfully exhilarating when your guy or gal wins. NASCAR is probably the most popular circuit out there right now, but I'd bet it's popularity will dwindle because of the racialist attacks against its most faithful fans. The sport has already seen a noticeable drop in attendance and viewership much because it has become too tied to identity politics. I mean, really, some people can only be called a bunch of racist rednecks so much. If you saw what happened this past Sunday, it wouldn't be surprising to see the stands remain empty even after the coronavirus hysteria has eased up a bit more and a few more fans are welcomed back to the tracks to watch rac...
