Institutional Blackmail Has Been Standard Operating Procedure for Millennia

I recently found this profound comic panel meme, and it just says volumes about how I feel in the depths of my soul. I do take some time examining the World System and its machinations, because in some ways it does make my dwelling in The Kingdom that much more meaningful. I do sometimes think about how difficult it is to observe what is truly going on with that sorrowful destruction, and to behold so many so foolishly oblivious to it. But then again, that's a lot of it. I know why. Even sadder is that so many out there think they've got it, think they do know about the World and what it does. Nah. They're just like that beloved Catholicist influencer Augustine... I just want to be doing good and wholesome things in the City of God ... Except that the "City of God" is just the good and wholesome Roman Catholic simulacra that is really about head-cracking evildoers, and every single one of us is an evildoer .  Ahh thank goodness there is the City of God law enforce...

The Capernaum Reality

Image
Today is the day everyone is supposed to indulge deeply in the 9/11 mythology, and with it the fantasy that with the good-hands team of the happy wholesome ecclesiocratic hegemony you are really actually truly a very good person, while those other guys over there -- see them, if you don't we'll point them out to you -- they are verry baaad . Let's all seethe about them together, shall we? I think of this day, however, as another anniversary, the 35th, this one of the day when I heard arguably the most sobering message from the pulpit I'd ever heard. Yes, it happened to be on September 11 too. I'd written about it in some length with this blog post from ten years ago , but here's just a bit about it and why I'm augmenting it with a brief post here. The first half of the message was about how wonderful Jesus' home small city was. Capernaum was the name of the place, nestled nicely right there on the northern shore of an idyllic sea, Galilee. There Jesus wa...

The Jeremiah 50 Factor

Image
I've just uploaded my latest home page piece , this one for the summer here, and I always blog a bit to introduce it. There is always something I can add to the discussion, sometimes something I simply could not fit in the home page piece. It is really hard to do that right now. The reason is simply there are too many insanely demonic things heaving up from the Infernal Palace that I just don't have the time or wherewithal to get into them. Lots of others do, and that's fine -- I'd even made mention of Victor Davis Hanson who does a spectacular job of constantly reminding us of how Hell's designs make their way into interminably legitimate Ecclesiocratic behavior. Sometimes it just gets overwhelming. I can, however, make a brief reference to what I see in Scripture that reminds us that no matter how maniacally destructive are the arrangements of Cain's Legacy, God wins in the end. As heinously lethal is the Culture War, "Mercy triumphs over judgment." ...

Regularly Scheduled Tuesday Grieving Sessions - We Got Another Really Good One Yesterday

Image
There is a scene in the film All the President's Men when Washington Post reporters Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein, working hard to find the good dirt on President Richard Nixon, are making their way to the house of one of Nixon's administrative operatives to try to get him to talk. As they stroll along the front of these spiffy-looking Brownstone-like homes, one of them remarks about the people inside, just living their lives, doing their thing, mostly oblivious to what is really going on outside of their cognitive domain. I think about this very brief, seemingly incidental scene quite often. I do so when looking into the eyes of so many people I encounter. I look and I just see so much ugliness and darkness in there, there in their souls. It doesn't matter how smiley they are or how well their hair is coiffed or how nicely dressed they are. They are ultimately all about wreaking havoc on the rest of the world in whatever way their psyche has been trained to do so. Please...

Yet Another Day That Lives in Infamy - And Irony

Image
Today is March 13, and two years ago, a Friday no less, they shut down our school campus. They essentially established a formal segregation policy dividing students from their teachers because of a firmly institutionalized and largely fabricated dread of an illness. Public schools are still reeling from this as it has been used to further rationalize the unabashed and pronounced instruction related to socialism (it is fine for the disadvantaged to expropriate wealth from the privileged with all due impunity), sodomism (it is fine for people to express their novel sexual proclivities no matter how immoral many consider them), and racialism (it is fine to furiously censure certain people for being inherently racist). I recently posted a home page piece at my webzine opening with a remark about that date and the present moribund condition of a popular discount movie theater I'd frequented before. I thought I'd share some photo shots of the other movie posters that were still ther...

Another Critical Facet of an Extraordinarily Important Truth Rule

Image
In my last blog post I shared a bit about a critically important Truth Rule that is under serious attack by a critical mass of severely misguided and stunningly powerful individuals and interest groups, the very simple one that you simply cannot choose your sexual identity . It is an impossibility, just as it is an impossibility to fly without some kind of lifting apparatus should you leap from a tall building. Just as you would plop when landing hard on the concrete below, believing you can be some kind of "gender" of your choosing slams you very hard on all sorts of agonizing emotional, psychological, spiritual, and of course physical consequences. I have been thinking about blogging a bit more on these Truth Rules, thinking of some important ones, doing it because in some ways it merely helps me process the attacks against them by those foolish detracting voices out there. The biological sex one? Wow, is that loud. Ouch, my ears hurt. Those Truth Rules remarks may be on th...

Juneteenth, Pride, and Summer Solstice

Image
What a weekend for the System's provocations. One of the most important functions of Cain's legacy is to stir rebellion in its nation's inhabitants. And this weekend may likely be the most pronounced celebration of that significant activity. Today you have a commemoration of the final announcement of emancipation made after the Civil War ended in April 1865. This is unquestionably a fine thing, emancipation, liberation respected by the authorities, the official end of slavery. The questionable part of this abruptly expanded version is how much this holiday is being used to browbeat white people with the idea that they are still racist and they need to do a lot of explaining, including how much they must hand over large portions of their wealth to make amends. Look at the kinds of demonstrations the Juneteenth promoters will have today. Legions of progressively minded folks with serious rebel streaks (the irony) hitting the streets furiously shouting and waving signs ...

The Pandemic of Folly Will Never End

Image
Every once in a while I hear some good news. I hear that there may be a chance someone will speak some sanity into decision-making regarding both the rancid racialist and coronavirus hysteria that continues to metastasize. One minute I hear or read something intelligent, thoughtful, wise, ahh there is hope -- then in the very next minute there is another example of the typical lethal absurdity that characterizes these times. I simply cannot see anything happening that will end this madness any time soon. I must steel myself for the worst. I've even come to the stark realization that being a truth-teller could lose me my job as a teacher, and my job is  to tell the truth. What irony. See, this racialism socialism stuff has been percolating for so long that it does seem as if it is finally reaching a boiling point. As a teacher I've always shared with my students the extraordinary dangers of socialism -- that when everyone is mandated to have equal amounts of everything, inc...

The School of Fear is Having Its Day, Addendum

"You asked, 'Who is this that obscures my plans without knowledge?' Surely I spoke of things I did not understand, too wonderful for me to know." This blog effort is titled Wonderful Matters because of the words in the 131st Psalm, but these words from Job apply just as much. Too often we try to figure out things without the full counsel of God, and I am often quite guilty of that. That is Job confessing to God there about something God told Job after he and his friends just spent thirty-plus chapters in the book spouting about things God has not said or done. Oh they got some of it right. Job and his friends do bring up a few things that are legitimate concerns about life and reasonable thoughts about the way things are. But for the most part we just don't know what God is doing with whatever it is that is happening out there . The reason I am all about wonderful matters in spite of that truth, is that even though: God has indeed let us in on many of His w...

Patty Murray is Quite an Honest Individual Actually

"We have no king but Caesar." Recently the U.S. Senate proposed a post-birth infant protection bill. "Committing infanticide is against the law" it pretty much says. It seems to have come forward after a governor in a state that pretty much allows abortion through all nine months of a pregnancy waffled about what to do if a partial-birth abortion failed and the baby was born alive. Should the parents be consulted about whether or not to keep the infant alive or utilize the pillow? When the Senate holds a "unanimous consent" vote, all that has to happen for the resolution to pass is for no one to object. You don't even have to go on the record, as a Senator you just don't have to say anything and the thing goes right on through. Yeah, huh. Cain's domain. Pretty nasty. Well, most Senators thought this would be a slam dunk. Who in their right mind would object to something enshrined into official federal ordinance that would protect a baby a...

The Mary Poppinsists, Addendum

Image
I wanted to briefly add a few notes about my last blog post , the one about the latest Mary Poppins excursion  Mary Poppins Returns . If you look and want to see clearly you'll easily note that the film presents a powerful version of the reigning religion belonging to those captivated by that Harry Potter desire to heroically affect things by their will outside the bounds of any of the more mainstream religious considerations -- ugh, too constricting. I want to be able to make my own way and do it by the most ethereally imaginative means. I don't believe many know the origins of this religion, and I think most would be surprised it is most prominently diffused into the World through the ecclesiastical institution right around the corner from their homes. As much as they may rail against the Roman Catholic organization for its rigid behavioral expectations, it is the one that promulgates their own gnostic, spiritist, and radically selfist perspective . Back in April of t...

A Tale of Two Johns (Jons)

Image
I read recently that John Schnatter has been summarily kicked out of Papa John's Pizza, the company he started. The reason: at a company conference call he uttered the n-word in reference to how, many years ago, Colonel Sanders used the n-word with impunity, after which he spoke a bit about racism and society and that racism is a bad thing in society. Several people took offense, the mainline racialist media ran with it, and it was off to the races. Goodbye, John Schnatter. He is now thoroughly ostracized, even demonized, and will never be seen or heard from again. Then there is Lil Jon. He is a famous rapper with the real name Jonathan Smith. A number of years ago he and the rest of his musical group known as the East Side Boyz put out a song called "Real [N-word] Roll Call." Just about every line in the song has the n-word in it. I'd even seen a reference to a Guinness record number of swear words, 295 of them they counted. I didn't see that this...
