What Are We Supposed to Do When We Do Never Forgetting?

Image
All kinds of 9/11 remembrances are being pronounced everywhere today, as they always are on September 11ths. Today it seems I'm seeing quite a few more "Never Forget"s everywhere, might be just because I'm noticing them more. And they are everywhere , on just about every web page, on my Twitter feed everyone is posting pics of the twin towers with those words -- I'm even seeing them outside of churches, and they're likely inside when they mention it in their services. I think about that. "Never Forget." Why? I mean, thinking about what happened and praying for the families and working hard for very good things for everyone all around is a very good thing, but I wonder. Does "Never Forget"ing mean actually looking closely at what actually happened on that day, and why? One of the things the operatives who arranged it did was catastrophize the imagination . It is one of the weapons in the arsenal of human sacrifice activity -- keeping the pop

What The News Media Want To Tell Me

Starting off the new year here I saw on the Internet news about what's going on in Iran. Thousands of people are filling the streets to protest Iran's government. Already two dozen people have been killed in the violent demonstrations. I don't know the details of what precisely is happening, but I do know a bit about how Cain's Agency led by the Society of Jesus is the most instrumental force in shaping government policy in every nation and forming what every citizen of each nation thinks about their government. Iran has always been some kind of theocracy, at its core ultimate leadership is held by the oldest wisest Shia Islam minister of some sort. The core purpose of government is to crack heads, and when the people feel it is cracking heads of the right people they are fine. Trouble is when World Operatives disrupt that process, and right now it is being upended, as it has any number of times in Iran's history. The mainstream news organizations led by the New

My soul hurts. Feel like putting in one more blog post for December. I try to put in a post at least once a month, keep up with it. That's fine. But I realized that each year I do fewer and fewer posts. I won't get to the point where I will never do them. But I know not many people read these. My soul hurts because I'd love to tell people about Christ so they'll welcome Him in their hearts. I'd love to write here all the time about the phenomenally magnificent things about Him. But my soul hurts because of what I see around me. So many people still beholden to the law to govern their habitually benighted behavior. I go on Facebook and see the most idiotic posts from the people I love so very much. They're so lost it makes my soul hurt. "Oh Dave they're happy with who they are get over it. Let it be." Yeah. I do. Too much. I think a lot about those idiotic things these FB people post, and so want to remark about them here -- or even th

Islam is a Product of Rome

I thought I'd peek around the web to see where I could find the exact string of words "Islam is a product of Rome". I found them in only two places, one of which was from a gal's inactive blog in the comments section of a 2008 post titled "Wussy Christianity," something like that. Of course the post itself was about how ineffectual modern Christianity is at truly having an impact and yeah, stuff like that. True enough, and related to something I'd thought about regarding my last webzine home page piece . I'd thought about the point I'd made about loving one's enemy, and thought, "Hmm, wonder what men  think about that?" I thought that because I know a lot of men consider being manly as punching people they don't like. On the other hand there are quite a few men who go the far opposite way, because we do live in such a feminized culture. Not that they're homosexual or anything, just that they consider most anything "ma

The World's Coalition of Frenemies

In today's Los Angeles Times was a piece by their in-house pundit Doyle McManus, titled "A Coalition of Frenemies." I didn't read it, but I can predict what he'd say. Correct me if I'm wrong, I don't mean to be presumptuous, not at all. But surely he'll talk about how the bestest of bestest diplomacy is required, one that tries reeeally hard to get conflicting interests to just jolly well get together to defeat the common enemy, that dratted Islamicism -- errrrrgh do we reeeally hate that Islamicist threat errrrrrrrgh... Oh brother. What's new. It's all just the latest idiocy from World blappers getting their cues from World megaphone holders many of whom are the most eloquent and erudite blappers in the most revered media and education institutions, and people like McManus just labor to try to sound the most boffo. But nothing changes. People wage war with one another, often in large groups, often asking Caesar to join their skirmishes,

The Letter Kills

We had the television tuned to "The News Hour" on PBS last night, and we were puttering around while the story about the Pope's visit to Turkey was airing. I happened to catch a glimpse of this placard held up by the protesting crowds, and it really struck me. You'll note that the Pope is looking in a mirror, and what he sees there is Death. I'd guess the Muslims are ostensibly making a statement about the fact that the Pope oppresses them with his remarks and so forth. But could they know more than even they know? Simply by being out there reveals how much they dislike their papa telling them what to do. Oh yes, the Pope is their papa, even if they're Muslim. If he wasn't, what are they complaining about? The fact that they show up to protest his power says volumes about the power he has over them . But the thing that I thought about the most is the essense of this statement, essentially, "Pope equals Death." If we presume that the Bible is acc
