Floods, The Main Thing
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction. (Proverbs 1:7)
The fool says in his heart, "There is no God." (Proverbs 14:1)
I'd written a bit about some things people could do to employ the best knowledge with the best wisdom and... I kind of felt I was just sharing things people already know. It wasn't that what I shared wasn't meaningful, but so many look at those extraordinarily profound truth rules and shrug, "So what." Yeah, this is kind of why I often feel resigned that all I am doing is what I've called trollee'ing. There are just so many lethally stupid things out there in the world it doesn't matter how powerfully lucid you are in your response, it just doesn't seem to matter.
Here's a good one, recently, I just could not help but be a fine trollee! The guy who does The Babylon Bee directed everyone to a social media post from a gentleman who blapped, "What we discover in physics is really the only ultimate truth." Something like that. I remarked in the comments, "So when the god Physics tells us something, like E=mc2, what does that mean? Ultimately?"
Mnnfphp. I just couldn't help myself. The stupidity of the materialist world view can just get me going. Maybe, just maybe a dyed-in-the-wool materialist will look at something like that and see the stupidity. Then maybe turn to The Reality. But then, it can be discouraging... hundreds of millions of people out there blap that kind of thing all the time.
Still. After thinking about my recent posts there, and thinking about those major floods that were so devastating last week, I thought further about what Jesus said about Noah. Of course, the main Bible flood guy. Again it is still interesting that Jesus talked about him. And the flood stuff. In fact there in the Bible it was an immediate pretext to the parable of the ten virgins I addressed in my last post.
"As it was in the days of Noah people were doing their thing, some of it certainly very important, they knew nothing... so it will be with the coming of the Son of Man."
Of course the emphasis there is mine. The point is they could know. They could turn from the darkness they love more than the light and see the Light.
Thing is, again, I feel like I'm preaching to the choir. These are things most people do know. But then they don't know. They have not trimmed their lamps and obtained extra fuel. It is mind-boggling how many are just riding the wave of mundanity disguised as anything profound -- and then they go to some kind of fierce ingestibles to kill the pain or rely on some kind of System-propelled crusade in the name of the great god Tikkun Olam so they can just feel ever-so better about themselves.
It is so fascinating to discover things in books like the one I've been reading, The Clockwork Universe, just a breezy tome about the installation of the Royal Society to really get things going in science. There is much about Isaac Newton and his brilliance, but even with that he was wholly immersed in painfully fruitless alchemy projects.
There are so many anecdotes about how ignorant people were in their knowledge-based preparations for things, one quite ridiculous one was about the famous Globe Theater showcasing all of Shakespeare's plays, and that it was built without a single toilet. I can't even imagine what it was like for all those who frequented the place, and it always packed in 2,000 patrons. Ouch.
One of the more significant items was how much the renowned Roman Catholic theologian Augustine made huge waves against any kind of scientific pursuits because it would have disrespected God who already made everything just the way it should be made, so I guess if you tried to find out more about His creation you'd be a very bad Christian individual. Wow.
Augustine, ah yes, the very best apologist for the "City of God," in other words, the World System.
I was in Austin, Texas, this past week visiting relatives, and had the chance to tour the Lyndon Johnson Library. Very impressive, just like all the other library/museums of these kinds. Many things caught my eye, but one thing of note was a huge bold-colored solid blue panel on the wall with all of Johnson's domestic accomplishments in white print. Blue, with white trim, like water.
I thought about taking a cell photo of it but just didn't. No matter. There were some thirty or so very fine things. One I noted was a simple one: "Accurate informative labels on food packaging." It wasn't this long but that was the citation.
Very good one. Truly good. And healthy, how much do I require knowing exactly what is in the food I eat.
Here's the whole thing with that.
Why don't people living richly in the Kingdom already do that? Why don't people love one another enough to let them know what they are putting in the things they ingest? Why didn't they always do that, even 150 years ago when we all really started to rely on pre-packaged food items? Why is it even now we must rely on the "MAHA" bureaucracy to work on removing the destructive food chemicals, dyes, and additives in those products?
The other day out driving I snapped this picture of a PSA on the side of a bus. It is exactly the same thing. There is a fine happy-looking family there and... why are they happy? Surely the idea is because the System has done a bunch of fine things to make them happy, in this case a bunch of county services.Where is the ungrafted church which can provide all those things to people with 100-fold volume? It is Biblical, look it up there in Mark, middle of the tenth chapter. Read it right there. That's Jesus sharing. "No one... will fail to receive 100 times as much in this present age..."
But repentance must happen. From the depths of your heart and mind and soul.
One of the things that is definitely a flood is the sexual immorality that has ravaged our country. Right now people are screaming about "the Epstein list," the idea that powerful people were engaged in child sex trafficking and that they should be exposed and other powerful people are hiding the names for obvious reasons yet we're all still so vehemently insistent everyone comes clean and all of that.
Thing is the whole Epstein episode is really just a psyop, one of many that weave their ways into the Americanist mainstream. People get upset about it because of what it represents, for good reason, but please...
Look around.
The same people who screech about Epstein will shrug when the worst sodomist immorality runs rampant through everything. There is so much LGBTQ stuff everywhere, and even if you don't like it, the sentiment "Whatever they do doesn't affect me" is dangerously foolish. I do believe 97% of everyone in the world, really, I think it is that many, justifiably consider the sodomist stuff wholly evil. Still, how does it keep seeping into everything?
That wouldn't happen unless it was made to happen. The System's been making this stuff happen for millennia, and it has always been the case...
But it isn't the System that this is about. It will continue to be there until the Last Day. It is supposed to be there for the ruthless prosecution it must execute, always. It will do its job and much of that is provoking the evildoing that routinely explodes from every single individual on the planet, always with the most imaginative psyops it can concoct pounded into every social, political, economic, technological stratum -- hey, technological, the newest greatest bestest "AI" is going to make it all an especially fun ride. As always, protecting the super-powerful involves the most bodacious false flag black swan events to keep the massive distractions going, so be looking for a particularly gruesome one coming up shortly.
The main thing is you're going to get the water. You're going to be dunked. Everyone one of us is wickedly evil to the core. Yet again for the near-reprobate: Stop pretending. Stop hiding behind the smiles of your friends and the sophistry bilged by the world about this yummy thing or that. You will either have a millstone wrapped around your neck and dropped into the sea -- yeah, Jesus, 18th chapter of Matthew, or you can call out not just the evil that infects everything around you but the evil in your own heart, and repent, relinquishing yourself and its vain characteristics, and ask Jesus to let you in the Kingdom. That dunking is your baptism in the public declaration of your commitment.
So yeah, there is the World dunking and the Kingdom dunking.
It is, right now, fully about the preparation. The preparation Jesus talked about in that 13th chapter of Luke when you see the lethal impact of sin and condemnation, the preparation of the five young ladies really wanting to meet and leave with their lord in the 25th chapter of Matthew. Same reminder here in this blog post. So go put on the proper gown and go get dunked in a Jordan River near you.
It's everywhere in God's word, which again is always represented by a lot of water. We sorrowfully look at floods happening all around here and now (many grievously experiencing them), and we sometimes think about Noah and that flood -- just wait until that Last Day, might want to peek at all of that 24th chapter in Matthew. What you're seeing now out there right now ain't nothing.
Might want to be securely dwelling in The Sanctuary.
That's the main thing.
