The Civil Election Sacrament - The Glory of Joining to Select Our Preferred System Authorized Bully
In my latest home page piece I'd introduced you to a very nice gentleman and shared a transcript of the conversation we had. Well, sure enough, I got to enjoy another such conversation with this very nice lady. I'm not going to transcribe it as such, just tell you about it, and about how revealing it was regarding the extraordinarily typical mentality that reigns in the hearts and minds of so many.
She was in her 70s, and said she attended the very nice old Methodist church in the very nice tree-lined downtown of our very nice suburb to a large west coast city. The church was a good-sized building, and she lamented that once a long time ago it was packed, but now could barely get 50 to attend on a Sunday morning. She mentioned a few things she now didn't like about it, and in soto voce leaned in with her hand next to her mouth and emphasized her disgust with the prominent sodomist items.
She wondered what happened to the established church, and felt it was far too lenient, mentioning that these days they enthusiastically let anyone take communion. She said she was raised Catholic and feels torn between two worlds. She wants to work hard in the service of her faith, and was encouraged by some Catholic leader of some stripe who she said she absolutely adored.
Thing is, she was all over the place with these things. I could tell she just wanted to spill her heart, and while I squeezed in a few very brief positive remarks, it just felt like I wasn't making any connection. It wasn't that she wasn't responding, just that the fact that I was listening so intently seemed to be very important to her.
All the while she was directing the activity and ballot-dropping of the parade of severe, sullen, detached voters at this place, most of whom themselves were over 60 years old.
That the substance of her intellectual grasp of the core spiritual truths about things was just another indication, to me, about how much the ordained System Ops have messed with so much all around, shaped her thinking about it all, and kept her in a state of benighted bewilderment about everything important.
In my home page piece I'd mentioned the ways the latest Tower of Babel construction -- you know, the AI God feverishly demanding the erection of massive Data Center edifices -- has been more firmly establishing the dominion over all things political, commercial, and financial. Yet in the interest of time and space I simply wrote about the "languid social" and "catastrophic economic" elements of that reality. I'd thought about my use of those adjectives, and thought I'd just share a bit about that here.
The "languid" just refers to how the "AI" is simply going to compel people to enter into relationships that ultimately are, well, just plain fake and as such worthless. Whether it is trying to find a perfect cyber-companion that has every characteristic a human programs into it, or seeking to be directed to relationships that simply cannot meet our attachments needs, none of this will ever meet our real, God-imbued social interaction needs. Indeed it will ultimately whack us out of our minds -- check out Jonathan Haidt's new book The Anxious Generation. It is frightening.
The "catastrophic" means the massive disruption of our economic livelihoods, and while there are those who insightfully point out that ditching millions of white collar jobs for AI will sever the revenue stream required to purchase the things AI makes, it also refers to the major cybersphere warfare between nations, particularly the United States and China. Sorry, I don't think anyone can predict where that will go, though I'm always looking for good takes.
I did see an "AI Doom" naysayer say that jobs will simply be reassigned, so we should really stop whining about the AI. He pointed out that at least there'll be jobs for people to build the data centers, but to me this just sounds like the convicted in the Old West consigned to build their own gallows. This seems to be just that only on a much more colossal scale, still catastrophic. And while it may be the case that newer jobs will be created and people can go here or there for their economic livelihood, I don't think it will go that smoothly, sorry. I honestly think it will be much more dramatic, sudden, and Romanist manipulated however delightful it is for some and lethal it is for so many others.
Then there is the serious movement to implement a wealth tax, merely adding a government revenue stream from unrealized asset values. From a socialist mindset anticipating the massive disruption of an AI dominated world requiring some kind of UBI distribution -- where is that idea going to go? The super-wealthy will just set up shop wherever that tax isn't, and wherever it actually is those in the middle class will be the ones getting the shaft on whatever assets they have.
Think they'll gleefully pony up? Especially since the economy will be made so unstable? Ah, I sense something of a revolution brewing. Precisely what the Romanist Ops have labored so skillfully for centuries to trigger.
I've also been reading Jonathan Turley's Rage and the Republic. Also highly recommended reading, especially for those who know these World System truths. He goes into pretty good detail about the revolutions with which we are most familiar. The best of all of them, the French back in the late-1700s, is really no different than any of the thousands of others through the ages. Perhaps just a bit more entertaining I'd say, but yeah, in a certainly more gruesome way you have to admit much because everyone was just so danged virtuous and learned and civilized!
So much to cite, but one quote says a ton about how people get in their little factions hoping they will be the ones that rise to do the bullying they need done. Lots of propaganda, lots of joining up, lots of inspiring virtue-signaling plap going all over the place -- so much of it in the name of that declared devotion to the god DEMOCRACY but really just oriented around the hope your faction's bully will kick ass on your behalf.
One of the critical moments of French disintegration is something James Madison just a few years before famously proscribed in his widely published support for some kind of reasonable constitutional governance. As Turley writes: "The circle of governing officials drew smaller and smaller. Tyranny of the majority had become tyranny of the few in the name of the majority. As historian R.R. Palmer observed, 'France would be governed by a minority many times subdivided.'"
Think this isn't happening now, what with the thousands of virtue-signaling NGOs clamoring for the millions of printed US dollars to keep up all the "helping of the poor and downtrodden"? What is less recognized is this is a wholly Roman Catholic operation, fully authorized by divine appointment as a way to keep raging factions thriving to draw people deeper in their allegiance to the Institution.
Which, again...
Is fine.
It is what must be. It is all an entirely legitimate evil-constraining operation -- has been for millennia. Read Rulers of Evil for the harrowing details. Study the fourth chapter of Genesis for the System's firm establishment. Realize that the solid remnant of Christ followers with a deep abiding faith in The One Who Is Grace And Truth back in the 1800s knew so very well about all of this but since then the Christian church has become so wickedly Catholicized that today it does seem so few understand.
There is only one thing about any of this writing. That you may see it and turn to Christ, authentically, meaningfully, at the entrance to His Kingdom.
I can't help but add this.
The two images included with this post. The first at the very beginning there I screenshot from a Windows to the World AI-generated video. It is one of the many that have hundreds of phenomenal AI motion images set to soothing music for hours and hours and hours. They are indeed incredible. The first is meaningful because of the entrancing porcelain figure -- oh that the AI could govern us as well as it is beautiful... like this... aaahh...
But then there is the clock at the side of her head. This was the tell, really. Clocks are always about the temporal. It is always about the ticking down of the minutes left...
We only have so much time.
There is the beauty, there is the wonder of what we truly want in life, but the sobering Truth Rule...
That earthly existence ends, and it ends because God will do away with it and our fallen condition when it is time.
Meanwhile, we are left with formally selecting our favored bully. We so well know the guy next door is not a very nice person. Sure we have neighbors with whom we may be civil, even befriend, that's cool. But we still lock our doors at night. This is why to close this post I added the latest Time magazine cover. I saw it there when browsing in the library, and just thought, huh, what a great image of that splendidly favored bully. Just the way they photographed him, the super impresario Dana White, running the super popular cage fighting program where two guys try to beat the living snot out of one another -- right there before God, Walt Disney, and everyone.
Lights, camera, blood-spewing action!
Oh that we get to enjoy the vicarious feeling of cracking heads of some chucklehead who desperately needs it. Good thing it is just television and those guys in the cage are okay with it -- after all they'll get paid enough to replace those teeth.
Now that's a guy I know will kick ass for me and mine. I want someone like that on my side! I know they make my bully look like the AI porcelain lady, that's cool, but he can really be like the way The Promoter looks, very nice!
And good thing we can believe ourselves to be not so bewildered as to toss our ballot into the polling box and kind-of think that it means something.
So maybe there won't be a real bloody revolution...
Kind-of...
