The Kingdom Counterfeit Roars Again

One of my good friends from church put on Facebook a link to this story. The very typical idea: that if you're a person with a top government job -- notably the president of the United States -- and you say you're a Christian, then you should have this characteristic and that characteristic and this other characteristic.

This kind of thing is quite pronounced today because Donald Trump is president, and after he did some prayer breakfast things liberal-minded folks found yet another opening to shred him a new aye-hole by pontificating about what a real Christian is supposed to be like, and they gathered all the ministers they could who also don't like Trump to add credibility to the claim.

"800 good wholesome qualified Christian ministers of some kind say Trump is no Christian so this is another proof that Trump is a great big aye-hole so we should all really really hate him already," essentially.

Now, I could go into several of the items mentioned that they say Trump is not very Christian about, but I just want to share here the most important facet of this kind of thing. It is simply that

People have no clue that the World System is not the Kingdom.

Their cluelessness about this striking contrast is so immense that it breaks my heart.

For you see, I really wanted to put in a comment for this young lady, someone I love and respect a tremendous amount, right there after her link. If I did it would have gone something like this.

"Excuse me, but Trump is not supposed to be a loving caring helper-with-government-type things. He is supposed to be a ruthlessly exacting enforcer cracking heads of anyone who breaks the law. He may say he is a Christian, but really, he is merely a Catholicist -- someone who may look like a Christian or say he does Christian things, but is really just a World System sacrificer or sacrificee. All the Huffpo-enjoying folks may expect him to be something like, say, "peacemaker", but he can only do that by whacking people who aren't peacemakers. It is Kingdom people who are the ones who should be authentically merciful and gracious and charitable and kind -- to the migrant and the downtrodden and so forth. So why isn't there a vibrantly robust Kingdom out there wherever it should be to do that? Why are so many expecting Donald Trump and the federal government to rescue everyone? Why do so many give their allegiance to Caesar when I thought they said they were Christians?"

I didn't add this comment, and the only reason I didn't is because it just wouldn't mean anything. I've discovered, from doing this so many times before, that people who post these things and address these things and are drawn to these things haven't a clue about the Kingdom. They are intoxicated by Caesar and his arts of war and ingratiating themselves to him. Those 800 ministers? I'd venture to say every one of them has a 501c3 tax exempt status for their respective churches, and as such are beholden to Caesar and his rule over their lives. No wonder they are so upset with Trump.

It is his realm from which they do their work.

It isn't from the Kingdom.

In fact, I'm convinced that what I would post would not only be meaningless to those who might read it on Facebook, but that it would actually appear to be nonsensical swearing to them. I might as well have written "Dog shit ramrod to the horror farm, and while you're at it vomit and a great display of cocksucking grease slivers. And never asshole vicious gravitational punk whenever the spit monkey cunt squatters until pus makes it grotesquely murder."

Makes no sense, and whatever it is, it sounds very ugly. Never mind.

And these people go on screeching and squealing about what Caesar will or will not do to make themselves look good.

I weep for these people, all of them. I pray for them all the time, I pray for this nation which is becoming more and more benighted through all this.

That they'd turn to Christ...
