The Rogue AI Ruse, Addendum
"...But will He find faith on the planet?" (From the 18th chapter of Luke)
A rhetorical question Jesus asks after speaking about people with such a deep abiding faith in Him that they'd pray for good, righteous things -- all the time. The problem is, when He actually comes back to find out how people have been blessed by the wonderful things He gives them, it is very possible there will be far too few who get it.
But I do get it.
I do look around and see the World ---- and its devotees. Very often they appear very smart, very kind, very savvy, very concerned about things being decent everywhere... and yet...
They are such fools.
Like Jeremiah observed, "Everyone is stupid and without knowledge." (From the tenth chapter)
And without God, without an insightful conviction of fear of the Lord (there in the sixth verse of that chapter), people will just be fully confused. It is just not hard to see that confusion just getting more and more explosive out there in today's "AI" dominated world.
Remember Tim Challies' blog post title from last May? If you don't, I'll share it with you again. It is indeed what the bewildering "AI" stuff is doing with the minds of every single person -- even more so now with the AI Doom as well as the AI Doom Debunking."AI Makes Me Doubt Everything."
Right now it is evident that some of the top AI generating companies are angling to financially entrench themselves, seeking regulatory capture by screeching about how evil AI can be. These are the so-called "AI Doomers," bleating about the possibilities of AI catastrophes to get government to protect everyone. The "AI Doomer Debunkers" are the ones calling them out and screaming "Lions and Tigers and Bears oh my!" about those trying to exploit them by screaming, "Lions and Tigers and Bears oh my!"
So yeah, the Debunkers are just as exploitive as the Doomers.
Both are doing the work of the World System that is moving them to do so much more in the raging Culture War.
There are a few things that are certain about all of this.
The SPIT is a critical component of all of this. Again for those just joining the conversation, SPIT is really the acronym that should be employed for AI, standing for Superfast Processing Information Technology. That is all it is, and some do see that, against what so many believe is something of a god what will someday be so stinkin' smart it'll make everything perfect we'll get a lasting utopia out of it -- finally!
Not.
The SPIT -- okay, I'll use the customary "AI," -- only does things somebody somewhere tells it to do. Anything it does to bring about some catastrophe, even the most amazingly sophisticated thinking that is widely considered to be the most disturbingly nefarious, was programmed into it by somebody upstream somewhere, no matter how socked away they are in some mysterious three-story-down basement wired to the hilt. Once again, a thing that is a transcendent truth as solid as any in the universe:
What comes out of AI comes from the heart of a human being with some measure of power to do so.
And yet, what does Scripture say about the human heart?
"It is deceitful about all things, and desperately sick, who can understand it?" (From Jeremiah's 17th chapter)
The "who can understand it" part is so critical, because every single one of these people blapping in the punditsphere, Doomer and Debunker alike, very likely believes that man is really, ultimately, generally pretty good on the whole and we truly do need either the omniscient AI or a loving caring government to fix things up a bit so we can have our utopia. Let's just keep trying to get this thing right!...
But they simply do not understand.
They do not understand that each one of us deserves to dwell forever in Hell unless rescued by Someone who pays the penalty for what we've done with our deceitful, sick hearts.
With that in mind, the AI itself is a fine instrument for people to do good work -- it is indeed just a form of technology that helps. It is just way better at it these days, that's all.
What does come from everything that is happening in this current massive trollfest is clear evidence that people do not understand, they are more and more confused no matter how much they think they know what is going to happen. The confusion will get more metastasized because that is the way the World Ops working this thing want it.
Much of this seems to catch fire because some tech drone went on all the talk shows and said something like, "There's a ten percent chance AI kills us all." Oh, okay. Sounds like even more of what the newish god Polymarket will tell us even more about -- odds are this, odds are that. Hey I can put down a bet on that thing! And this other thing! And that thing! Cool! (Nothing confusing about any of that, no...)
Well, it is true, something will kill us all, someday, somehow, and AI might be blamed, but it isn't AI. You can see some of it in this excerpt from a post I got about some of the AI Doomer talk. Forgive me, I just didn't get down who wrote it, but it is still telling:
The entire collectivist error stems from their misreading. We decide that selfishness is a flaw to correct rather than a force to channel, we decide we can manufacture a new man, more moral, more lucid, capable of managing <<for all>> without every serving himself first, then we hand him the lever. It's never worked, not once, because the people managing <<for the collective>> remain individuals. They have a career, a budget, a camp, a fear, a network. The bureaucratic state doesn't eliminate selfishness: it displaces it, makes it opaque, and shields it from bankruptcy. The result is always the same, and it's not an accident. It's a mechanism. Dario [Amodei, one of the top exec AI Doomers] wants to be regulated for that very reason, no other. Effective altruism, moral software in which an enlightened elite must administer the risk for the rest of humanity. Concreate translation: and AI compliance state, permanent inspectors in the labs, common standards, and capped speed, authorization before releasing a model, and tomorrow a <<collective>> of democracies co-managing the frontier. (Emphasis in original)
Can you see what this guy is describing? Do you understand? It is really nothing other than the modern-day Inquisition, the Roman Catholic Ecclesiocratic Hegemony simply fulfilling its duty to regulate the evil in humans' hearts. Because of all the richly manufactured crushing dread, it is further expected to do its divinely permitted work of sin management, using protracted human sacrifice as its main administrative program feature. Oh, and it will do the most skillful job of making it look all nice and splendid, you know, so democratic, so empathetic, so wholesomely lawful, so... so... so not-being-kings-in-any-way-and-just-plain-super-nice-to-everyone-especially-the-poor-and-downtrodden.
This is how it has been for millennia, in whatever form Rome took. It is the way it is now, and it will be this way until Jesus returns -- and yes, the use of "AI" will be a major part of it. It is now. Romanist governance will always work this way, and it must as long as a reprobate populace thrives and stays unrepentant, rejecting Christ and dismissing Kingdom, and laboring exhaustively to fix things their ways.
I look at all the enraged blithering from any and all quarters and never see any reference to humility and confession and turning from sin and the World and its ruthless prosecutorial apparatus, much less do I see anything about the commensurate understanding that comes from asking Christ to open eyes -- only more of the same ugliness, except now with the expanding AI wars it is so clear the confusion is just that much more wicked.
"He who has The Son has life, he who does not, does not have life."
I mean it is that simple. No confusion there at all.

The first image was clipped from a video - indeed AI generated - put out by an AI Doom Debunker with those most visible System tech stooges on the grand Romanist stage telling everyone about how great their AI is until System government people slip in behind them and whisper that must now tell them the AI will actually kill them. The confusion is deliberately installed. I still appreciate its depiction of the masses just mindlessly embracing whatever their charismatic yet propped up World potentates tell them - as sorrowful as that is.
